Has anyone else gotten the sense that saf has been really really pushy this game? especially on vodean? I dunno, just doesn't seem like typical D1 stuff for him...

unvote Disregarding a denial from Thor I don't see a reason to push this.

I guess I have been less than fair with vodean, and I'm sorry, but I'm generally a bit more short tempered with people who have been around for what I consider awhile yet don't seem to be progressing or maturing as a player (see some of my posts directed at shield). I suppose vodean is entitled to play however she wants to play, and I really don't have much valid reason to be pushing her to play the way I hope an experienced player should play.
unvote

unvote I have no reason not to believe the claim, thinking out loud, could Sif be an enabler for Thor, and could Thor be a vig or summat?

perhaps my play style is strange, or noobish, as saf would say. but hey, it got us a case on saf.
Saf has pretty much been pushing me to claim for my reaction to the end of the joke-vote phase. he may be town, but i'd say its worth pushing for a claim.
vote safguy
actually, this is the third time i've come close to voting him, and the second time i have voted him (not counting when i voted him in the joke votes), and that means that this is not the first time we have had reason to vote him. i'd definitely say hes worth pressuring.

also saf, coming from an "experienced" player such as yourself, don't you think that this is scummy? a noob might ask the town leader to reveal themselves, but not someone like you. unless you are scum, and you are just hoping that we either miss this or thor does reveal himself.
and thor is not going to reveal himself.

There's no guarantee that Thor is more than a mason. If the game is NV, we've had pure masons before. Mason could be a ballsy mafia goon fakeclaim.
As for the vote on me, are you basically admitting that your rationale is OMGUS, but that you felt it was too blatant while you had lynch pressure on you and therefore waited until after that pressure passed to vote me?

wow. WOW. where do i even begin? for a 3-liner, thats impressive. Thor, the most famous of the gods, son of Odin, is a powerless mason? really? and he would still be in the game, and hence able to counter-claim. so there goes that great idea.
remember how this is the second time after the joke-votes i've voted you? yeah... that means that when you pressured me, it was OMGUS. when didnt vote you before, it was because at that point i had not looked back through the thread, and thought you were someone else. So there goes the second point.
finally, i've pretty much been cleared, as thor would certainly counter-claim if i was lying, and thor is certainly in the game. so why you are still trying to pressure me is a little confusing.
for an experienced, and collected player, you seem to be very jumpy and defensive. i want a claim.

ok in red she says that he will not show himself or counter claim on the basis that he is to powerful as everyone has said before.

but right there she says that he would show if he was here to counter claim. lets get one thing straight if you claim something and noone counter claims it doesnt mean you are real. just to let you know. i claimed a doctor and didnt get counter claimed for two days so ya it doesnt clear you in the slightest. and thor would not counter claim...at least if i was him i would not. he is obviously to powerful to do so.

You have no evidence of him being a power role besides being your mason buddy (allegedly). Don't try to play the mod and WIFOM otherwise.I had reason to vote you, what was your reason for voting me? Just because you voted me once before means diddly if you had a crap reason to vote me in the first place.Again, as clever pointed out, you can't claim that he has powers and therefore should not claim and then turn around and say that he would claim. If anything, I've been consistent, and your posts are long on talk and short on substance.

Vodean: Claimed sif, masoned with Thor. No counter claims as of yet. Doesn't have any real reason to vote saf as I can tell other than Saf going after Vodean/not liking him.
Saf: Had a valid reason to vote Vodean. Unvoted after the claim.
Do you guys see where this is going? I really shouldn't tell the answer. Let's move on.

I was going to vote saf, as last time when his gameplay was off he was scum (or at least he thought he was), but he seems to have defended pretty well.

i could tell you that thor has a power-role, but i wont since you wouldn't believe me anyway. Im assuming that there are other mason-pairs with power roles, so you could back me up on this one. I also think that thor would counter-claim if there actually was a mafia, because he could be protected, and its worth it to kill mafia.
i admit that the case against saf is fairly weak, but it is the best case i see atm...
saf OMGUS voted me, and is jumpy and defensive. Also, if saf really was town, he wouldnt be pushing so hard to lynch a claimed town mason without a counter-claim.
so unless someone has a considerably better idea, i'd say lets turn up the heat a little, here.

its sarcastic. yes, obviously, thor, one of the most powerful gods, will have a power-role of some kind. lets not get in to it too much though, since we dont want to reveal anything about his role. Its just that saf seems to have a problem with everything i say, and so he would certainly counter this if i said it.

Anyway, Saf HAS been pushy, but I think his reasons are sound. And vodean, I wouldn't say you're in any capacity cleared yet. Also, you've been extremely eager to pursue a Saf counter wagon.

It's not weak. It's, at best, counter-productive. At worst, it's no case at all. It's someone who's mad about a guy pushing hard to lynch him.Personally, if you keep acting this way ( saying Saf OMGUS you but you OMGUS everyone and their mother since the beggining of this game ) I will be re-voting you for the sake of getting rid of someone who, in my oppinion, is probably town but blinded and incoherant enough that it won't help us around. That, and you already showed you don't mind if the case is good or not, but you'll follow it anyway ( in regards to you following my case when I clearly made a huge mistake in it )I personally won't turn the heat on a vengeance case against someone. In short, you have acted scummy more than anyone else around. And you're adament on pushing the case on someone who not only explained his actions, but defended against the little things you offered as proof. He didn't OMGUS you. You OMGUS him in the first place. You are the only one to blame for the pressure you got onto you by now. Pushing a case against someone you don't like won't bring us anywhere.
Sorry if this sounded rude, no offense meant.

Oh please. First, I initially pointed out that someone claiming would out Thor. This is not revelatory. Second, now you're just playing the victim.

adbwop: Also, your points against Saf aren't great at all. Saf's demand for a partner claim is pretty standard normally, the only difference here being that a few (including myself) have surmised that Thor is important, which is entirely conjectural.

Again, you're not the mod, unless you have solid role PM proof or something like that, it's not a factual statement.
Sure, he could be important, and sure, there's a good probability that he has other night powers, but saying that Thor is important just because he's Thor and therefore has a power role doesn't say much.
Remember, we're all supposed to be GODS, we're ALL important. Comics and DC Universe movies aside, Thor happens to be the most well known of the gods, but not necessarily the most important.
