This is my opinion. In my Madia experience I have yet to see mafia lynched day one. I would have loved to continue my arguement with WW until edocil decided to play referee. It was not unreasonable to ask someone to back up information they claim as factual. He is the best canidate at the moment and appears he is inactive as well.

Day 1 Scene

The crowd gathered to discuss who were the trouble makers among them. Many of them refused to speak. Perhaps unsure of who could be trusted.

As the sun started to set some of them wondered where wildwilliam had gone. The decided to hunt for him.

It was beginning to get very late when they found him near his house. Catnipdreams shouted "get him!!!!"

The crowd charged after him and hung him from a tree.

wildwilliam Third Party Poisoner has been lynched.

It is now night 1. You have 48 hours to send in your actions.

Deadline: 9th Feb 5pm GMT

Night 1 Scene

Edocsil was in bed trying to get a bit of sleep before the sun came up. Suddenly he heard a noise. He knew someone had entered his house.

He grabbed his gun. He headed onto the landing to see who was there. He could not see or here anyone. He knew they were still there though.

He headed down stairs and looked around. Suddenly he heard a gunshot. It was too late though and there was nothing he could do. The bullet went staight though his brain and he dropped to the floor.

edocsil Town Vigilante has been shot.

Day 2 starts now. With 11 alive it takes 6 to lynch.

Its possible. Could just be he was the last to post and last in the minds of the mafia who knows. However that does make things a bit more interesting since now killing will be mainly mafia.

Interesting... If I was indeed Mafia, I would not want to kill edocsil, as it would draw attention to me, just as codierose has pointed out. I'd venture to say that if anything, this shows me to be Town, the potential victim of an attempt by Mafia to make me look scummy. I'm thinking that edocsil did indeed die because of that quote. Mafia had to pick someone; why not try to get a bonus lynch of a Town player out of it? And yes, I am Town.

As to the hot seat comment - I was surprised when I read it, and I thought it was kind of scummy, actually. We had a deadline, no one else had anything resembling a case going for anyone else, wildwilliam was AWOL, and I didn't really care for the tone of his posts. I really, really want to keep this game civil, and it looked to me like wildwilliam might pull us into some name calling nastiness. Rather than risk a No Lynch, sure, I voted for wildwilliam. I wasn't actually aware that I was the hammer, I was just making sure I got my vote in before the deadline. Knowing that I was the hammer, would not have changed what I did, and I would not find it significant, had anyone else been the hammer. If I were a Mafia player, I'm not sure I would have even voted for wildwilliam, since he was such an obvious choice; let Town vote to lynch him, sit back and be safe, no votes on record for a non-Mafia player. We got real lucky with wildwilliam, though, being 3rd party!

well - does catnip seem defensive to anyone apart from me? What he says makes sense. Of course he could be mafia and wanted edocsil out of the picture in case he lead town against him and and put him in the "hot seat". Right now my thinking could go either way, I'm not ruling anything out. At least we got that poisoner out of the way. I had a feeling that WW was a bad egg from the beginning.
