You will need to earn 26 points in the first (Classical) section to advance to the next. Half the points you earn in this section will carry over to the next one, so you will have to earn 39 points to get past the second (Medieval/Early Modern) section. Half of these point will carry over to the next (Modern) section. The two people with the highest point total after this section will play a best-of-six series on Fractured America, USApocalypse, and Extreme Global Warming (tie goes to whomever had the most points) for the championship!

Blinkadyblink wrote:Players will be awarded points in the following manner.
In a Standard game: 1 point for each opponent eliminated, and 2x + 1 points for winning a game with x players. So if you win a 6-player standard game and eliminated 3 people, you would get 3 points for the eliminations plus 13 (2(6) + 1) points for winning for a total of 16 points.
In a Terminator game: 2 points for each opponent eliminated, and x + 2 points for winning a game with x players. So if you win a 6-player terminator game and eliminated 3 people, you would get 6 points for the eliminations plus 8 points for winning for a total of 14 points.
In an Assassin game: 3x points for winning a game with x players. So if you win a 6-player assassin game, you would get 18 points.
No matter what the game type is, and no matter how many players there are, players will, on average, get 3 points per game. Because of this, the number of players in your games will vary depending on how many players advance past each section.
If a player kicked out of a standard game for deadbeating or breaking the rules, no one will receive any points for his elimination. If the player is kicked out of a terminator game no one will receive points for his elimination unless they actually conquer all his territories. If the player is kicked out of an assassin game, scores will not be affected

Games will be limited to the following number of rounds:
2, 3, and 4-player games: 30 rounds
5 and 6-player games: 40 rounds
7 and 8-player games: 50 rounds
My hope is that all games will finish before they reach the round limit, but if they do not, I will distribute points as follows. In an x-player game, 3x points will be distributed in total. Anyone who has earned points via eliminations will get those points. The number of points given in this manner will then be subtracted from 3x, and the remaining points will be distributed equally among the surviving players. For example: Players A, B, C, D, E, and F are playing a 6-player terminator game. By round 40, Player B has eliminated Player A, and Player D has eliminated players B and C. Player B would earn 2 points for eliminating player A, and Player D would earn 4 points for eliminating Players B and C. There are 6 players in the game so 18 (6*3) points will be distributed in total. 6 were given for eliminations, so 12 will be split evenly between Players D, E, and F (because they were the only ones to survive.) In the end, Players A and C would get 0 points, Player B would get 2, Players E and F would get 4, and Player D would get 8.
