Screenshot focuses on a hand draped over a sofa, holding a cigarette with an unnaturally long trail of ash still attached to the end.
The hand can't have moved at all for a long time ... it is probably female but strong and sinewy. The person must be bombed... on drugs or just disillusioned with life; perhaps both.

Is it kill bill 2? ;)
Nope. It's also not a sofa, it's her right knee.
More clues: It's a pretty well known movie (tho GenYs may not have seen it (do not judge it by the crappy prequels), yet) and it's such a beautiful shot - from the tracking to the way it's lit (which makes sense for the story) - that I figured it'd be recognized.
She's one of the greatest sci-fi movie heroes (Joss Whedon would later write her, but she'd probably never use hairspray). She's strong and does a pretty amazing thing in the first movie.

Princess Leia doesn't smoke!
"Some motherfuckers are always trying to ice skate uphill."
Duane: You know what they say about love and war.
Tim: Yes, one involves a lot of physical and psychological pain, and the other one's war.
OK, it's almost 3 days and it doesn't look like anyone's going
to get it - the answer is Aliens, and the shot is of Ripley
just before she's visited by Burke and Gorman to inform her
that they've lost contact with the colony on the moon where
the alien ship was found.
Anyone feel free to post a new screenshot.
