ok so my gut instinct tells me that this gun is Russian and most likely made right after ww2 coming from something that originating Germany? am i even close with this logic. if not i would not be surprised.

Yes, it is pretty obscure, but I figured if the liberator pistol was recognized it's more interesting 3rd cousin the Winchester Liberator was fair game.

These can be had for considerably less than any para i've ever seen, infact i've heard they're practically giving them away at CDNN.
