I have read of very complicated characters that are townies but can become the bad guys.
now i dont know the books that well... have any characters become bad?

Oh yes. Primarily
Boromir.

But wasn't that just a breif thing cause of the ring, you wouldn't call Galadrial bad but I distinctly remember her going nuts cause of the ring.
tbh I think a mass claim would win us this game no bother but I would rather try and play it properly. In these games there should be a rule against it.

Yea the Batman game had no Alfred, that surprised us a bit.

Well Boromir isn't all bad, he wanted the ring to use it to save his city/country.
Theoden could be one role that needs some sort of saving, Bilbo could have some personality quirks, Treebeard could be a Survivor that sides with town iff some event takes place and the list goes on. But I don't think there is much of this as there is only 15 of us (but then again I'm not sure on how stroop mods his games).
I always like going South; somehow, it feels like going downhill.

What's a mass claim?

Mr. Squirrel wrote:What's a mass claim?
In this case it would involve everyone saying what character they have and possibly their role. The townies would presumable tell the truth and the mafia members would lie. We would then try to decide who's was lying but what they claimed and whether that person is really in this game, two people could also end up claiming the same person, and one would obviously be lying...

The problem with mass claiming is that it takes all the fun out of the game.

I remember the last time it majorly happened was in a Harry Potter wandlores match, where lots of scum had been killed in the first two days so we rooted out the last one quite quickly... it is actually my most posted in thread apparently, so have a read of it if you have any spare time! Only a few of the names from the game are still around.

The game was also quite funny as the mod had given the same role to two people, resulting in a massive spam fest from one user who had to be cautioned

good old kwan.

I got a better one for ya:
Anyone notice how all of Clive's votes (except for the first random) have been for people on the PMC bandwagon. Not to mention that all in his posts all he does is defend PMC and not looking for any other scum or reasons except for those on the PMC bandwagon? Kinda odd that he is not looking anywhere else and just jumping on people who voted for PMC, who was acting scummy.
He vote Iliad:
Clive wrote:I don't like this wagon on Pmc. His deductions were logical.
Unvote;
Vote: Iliad
he only unvoted iliad once iliad told him it was a joke vote and voted for the only person left voting for PMC:
Clive wrote:It is day 1. We have nothing to go on. If you are the person acting scummy, even a little bit, you will get the votes and the questions thrown your way.
Not true, just because it's D1 doesn't mean there's nothing to go on. And I really hate your second sentence. D1 is not just about a random lynch. You also seem to imply that only one person can act scummy on D1, which doesn't make any sense.
I find your attempt to generate a wagon on Pmc scummy, I fail to see how speculating on what we might be up against is a scumtell.
Iliad: It didn't sound much like a joke vote, but i'll let it go.
Unvote;
Vote: Suspect
... he did not like iliads joke vote.......

No, we do have nothing to go on, no sound proof of anything, if you know something we don't please do tell. I never said it was about a random lynch nor did I imply that only one person could be scummy. I said PMC looks the scummiest, meaning there could be more than one. He is the one I want to pressure, because as he even admits, he has been acting scummy. Voting for someone does not mean you want to lynch them, it can also mean that you want to pressure them into proving they are innocent, which I am doing.
Clive wrote:I find your attempt to generate a wagon on Pmc scummy, I fail to see how speculating on what we might be up against is a scumtell.
Why do you find my "attempt to bandwagon PMC" scummy? Any reasons or just to try and pass the blame? The reason you do not know why speculating is a scum tell is because you do not read or your are scum and trying make PMC look innocent. If you read all the posts more than just me explained why speculating is scummy.
Vote CliveHe still has not answered my questions, probably because he still is only skimming. Not only this he seems to be lurking.
I am not lurking, I have posted eveyday.
Why do you find my "attempt to bandwagon PMC" scummy?
Because I think the way he speculated on the setup was a pro-town thing to do, and you are isisting it's scummy and pushing a bandwagon on him for it.
Any reasons or just to try and pass the blame?
This has been my stance from the get go, I have no blame to shift.
The reason you do not know why speculating is a scum tell is because you do not read or your are scum and trying make PMC look innocent.
No, it's because i'm town, and i've tried to think about it logically.
If you read all the posts more than just me explained why speculating is scummy.
I strongly disagree.
However, now that i've read more, i'm starting to feel you're actually a misguided townie.
Unvote
he only unvoted for me once I took my vote off PMC and put it on him.
This guy has posted nothing except for posts defending pmc and trying to make anyone voting for him look scummy. He either has a man crush on PMC or knows something we do not.

I agree with suspect here. Clive took his vote off suspect originally because he thinks him to be a "misguided townie" but as soon as Suspect pointed out his voting history, he quickly put the vote back on. Seems awfully strange to me.

Sorry, busy day. Anyhow I don't believe that I have really been trying to influence people yet, what I intended to do was to throw out my mediocre ideas and see if anybody thought they had any merit. Just for something to discuss.

I had ideas that turned out to be quite lame That I felt like mentioning for possible discussion, I posted my thoughts that I had as that was about all I could come up with at that moment.

Dam can't argue with that.
Clive does seem to be a little suspicious to me as well tbh but I am reluctant to vote for him as it is kind of lose-lose for me. If he is town then we lost a townie if he is scum then suspect will hunt me again tomorrow. Oh well I have to vote for who I think is most suspicious and at this moment it is clive.
unvote vote clive
