Once again, a death has happened and once again it was an investigator of sorts, Ray Penber (Talapus) had been tracking down a lead he believed to be guilty he noticed all this person did that night, unfortunately for him there were plenty of killers around, and as he followed he began to have a pain in his heart and he collapsed unnoticed by the person he was tracking, no one around but the Death Note user Himself.

Because there are two in the anime. Where I'm up to anyway, and it's fairly early on.

The Mischevius Shinigami was having fun watching humans again, so he decided to kill another to see how the world would react.
He had went down to the local University and killed one who was close to a death note owner, Kiyomi Takeda a Kira supporter and unbeknown girlfriend of Kira himself was stuck down during school with many witnesses, the crowd went into a panic.
Kiyomi Takada (baggins994) one shot pro-kira Vigilante was killed

No idea. I'm not that far into the anime yet. I've only just seen the girl with said 2nd death note.

Yes, baggin's death was deinitely a good thing.
Now according to the scene, it was a shinigami (death god) that killed her. This means that the daykiller is NOT aligned with Kira (a great thing for town) and that he's probably 3rd party. My guess is an SK, while all the Kira affiliated stuff are one cohesive mafia making NKs.
