Just one thing... for some of the planets, the bevel/shadow on them is facing the said planet's sun. It just looks kind of weird to me. If you're using photoshop, which it looks like you are, maybe you could turn off "global light" on the bevel and adjust each planet's shadow to its sun.

I'm guessing this map is about to die *sigh*.
The mapmaker hasn't made a post in almost 2 weeks (go back a little longer than that for an update). A few issues - specifically with the redundancy in the look and feel of the planets with a +1 bonus.
Hopefully, he'll come back after Thanksgiving (or before then) and give us an update on his plans. A lot of hard work went into making it this far. I guess while the comments and suggestions were flowing fast [even if only from me], he felt like he had something to do for the map. But, he couldn't handle the stagnation?
OR, maybe he can't find the thread unless it's bumped near the top *lol*?

I'm a space cadet from waay back, and this map rocks.
(IMO) By far the best space map i've seen in CC (although i don't mind bloknayrb's idea)
I really hope i get to play on this map. But if i may put my 2cents in:
-Roman Numerals for planets (numbered from the Sun out)
-Asteroids blocking planetary attacks is rediculous
Space mines, maybe; asteroids, no way.

Ah! Don't let this map die, it seems really close to final forge, and it would easily be the best space map. Can someone take over for the creator, or something?

this is a good map, but the solar system map rocks too.
as for taking over, u would need the specific author's permission and his files to take over it.
there is also another space map in development as well, so u try there.

All +2 Earth-likes & all +0 Gas-Giants start neutral. Considering all core systems (the 5 around the galacy center) start neutral.
