              Final Forge

---The Puget Sound Map has reached the ‘Final Forge’ Stage. I've revived this thread from the pits of the Foundry furnace and have exmined the contents. Nearly every major concern has been addressed. If there are any other current concerns, please make your voice heard. If after a reasonable amount of time there has not been any objection or protest, the map will be deemed finished with the 'Foundry Brand' of approval and will be submitted for live play. As long as there is still discussion or posts that have yet to be commented on, the map will remain in Final Forge until said discussion has reached the conclusion that the map has reached its final and polished version.

Post questions and concerns if any.

When I looked at the start of the last page I was like "why is this final forged it looks so bland". Then I got to the last one and I was like.. "quench"

That national park at bottom right is so weird, maybe you should unsquare it since I didn't think it was a territory at first.

let me nitpick now so you won't have people nitpick when the map is out (great map, bonuswise good)

Small map, legend, Thurston Co. (needs that dot at the end)

you may even put a angry smiley in the post if you reply to this :D

i recognize that the small map does just meet the size limit, and i acknowledge that this concern has been raised before, but can it be any smaller? it's always nice when you can see the entire playing area and the attack boxes on your monitor without having to scroll.

Beyond that it's looking very good... still don't like those whales, but that's just my opinion. :)

when i scale it down..it just looks blurry. so how?

and if i did scale it down..wouldn't i have to completely redo all the coordinates for the small map on the xml?

i started this

Tisha....unfortunately if you do a complete scale down for oaktown's benefit you probably will have to redo the xml as the coordinates will move. The onyl other way is to resize the territories and that is alot of wokr at this stage. If you have the time and energy to do this then good on yo-u, but it is not necesssary. I will say this is entirely up to you, as you have meant the size requirements. I had Bamboo Jack put up with no opposition to 600 x 600, so i can't understand this one. And actually i think it is a little poor at this stage calling for a resize on a scrolling issues. This should be done well before reaching FF.

Oh, and since the coordinates are done please ignore my above concern about map size.

How about we spread the news to the CC world about this map by quenching it? 8)
