I think we are all intelligent enough that if we were all at the same bar, we would all be sitting together having a drink and a laugh.

HOWEVER.

This thread is LOCKED and will stay that way until I get a chance to go through it and deal with anything that needs to be dealt with.

In the spirit of good clansmanship, I'm sending his clan a $2.00 off coupon for an abacus -- to keep track of Clan games he's entered going forward.
He can use it to also count how many more cooks/cadets/?New-Recruits he's played (all more than dirty ol' GLG).

And yeah....I accidentally joined 1 game too many in a challenge vs your clan. I however paid a penalty, as your clan chose to impose a 21 game forfeit for it so they could go on to contest the final. Perhaps you should read the thread and see what the community thought about that decision!
No amount of mud-slinging on your part can detract from the public ridicule you deserve, for you knowlingly take advantage of the weak and young. If I ever did that I would leave the site in shame.

It came up on first page of games 1073702 -- I missed a digit and assume recent (no comma's by CC), but I'd have thought base on your HUGE experience I'd have thought your first would have been. . .50264 or 24 or 1. . .or -0.0001. Now if a dirty lowlife like I can admit the shortcomings of my comments, I'd think a Clan Leader like you could also -- but two other items noted still are glaring

I have been staying on the sidelines about this issue and this will probably be my one and only post about it...

Mostly directed at you GLG because you seem to at least be paying attention to what others are saying. I will agree that you are, and probably always have been, playing within the current CC rules. I will also admit that I am not necessarily a big fan of people using all means available to drag someone's name through the mud because there are generally 2 sides to every story.

That being said....... whether you chose to admit it or even care, your method of routinely searching for players that are brand new to the site so that you can easily stomp them is a bit disturbing. I understand that you are moving up in ranks of your opponents now but clearly that was not always the case. And of course you have many following in your footsteps now.

I just don't understand the mentality behind it?? Please correct me if the following analogy is wrong: You decide you want to play a game and you want to win it..... so you decide to find the weakest possible player you can find to play on a difficult map that they have never played and invite them to a private game to make sure that you win.... and you do it over and over and over again. Did it not ever bother you that time and time again these players told you they didn't know the map because they never played it? Clearly the answer is no because you already knew that didn't you?

If that type of victory gives you satisfaction then so be it... whatever floats your boat but I certainly wouldn't find any pleasure or satisfaction in that.... I liken it to me putting my 16 year old son on the mound to pitch against a bunch of 10 year old's because I don't want them to score a single run... There is not much competition in that scenario

Different strokes for different folks I guess.... I just hope you don't approach real life that way because one of these days one of those grade school kids your picking on will be carrying a gun or something.... This is very disappointing. It seems that Conqueror means nothing which I have suspected for quite awhile. Allowing the name change disturbs me. We can't all do it. I think Conqueror needs to be eliminated as a title/rank. That's the only honorable thing that can be done now. I understand not being able to punish ____ for doing what he has done. It was not explicit that he broke any rules and therefore unfair that he be punished for it. However, the title is tainted by far more than just him so CC could make a statement by just getting rid of it. Unfortunately new players don't read the forums much so even though I exhort all to foe him he will still have his victims to keep up his point total. But, if we all do foe him it will at least prevent him from participating in clan games and will bring disrepute on his clan until they wisely remove him. That is our only option I'm afraid to right the wrong in some small measure.

Maybe we do need to revise the way points are calculated. The University of Alabama just won the BCS national championship, not by playing a bunch of Division III teams , but by going up against some top notch competition.

(OK, yeah, so there was Kent State, North Texas, and Georgia Southern, sure, but they also played Penn State [#23], Arkansas [#14], Florida [#12], LSU twice [currently ranked #1 - lost once, won once], and Auburn [#24]).

Why not instead of just points, base the rankings on who you actually play? Have a ladder-style leader board, or a tier system.

It would be ludicrous for the top player on a chess site to never play other top-rated players, or a World Champion boxer to always fight players with only 1 or 2 wins under their belts.

But I for one am very much looking forward to some clan games vs. GLG's squad. I have full confidence that KORT will train him up. =)

DISCLAIMER: I don't give a shit about any of this.

However, this whole saga reminds me of an episode of Law and Order SVU. In this particular episode, a mentally handicapped girl named Katie is brought in to see Benson and Stabler when she becomes inexplicably pregnant. As it turns out, Katie was being "kissed" by the store manager by whom she was employed. As the story further unravels, it turns out that "kissing" was a code word for sitting on his lap with her pants off. What reminded me of this episode is the fact that both Katie and these hapless noobs don't know that they're getting fucked.

At the end of the episode, the manager was induced to take a paternity test and surprise! He was the father. No Maury dance for him. It also turns out that he had taken advantage of and impregnated several other mentally handicapped female employees that he had "helped" by offering employment. He was to work the rest of his life just to come up with the money to pay monthly child support for approximately 11 children.

Should GLG ever be found guilty by the C&A system, I feel that this episode of Law and Order should be used as precedent and a "point support" be awarded to the victims: three points a month for as long as the noobs shall play.
