To answer betikos question of trust: nobody, if anything by asking that question I'm suspecting you are up to no good.

What tells are you looking for on this day 1 for choosing your lynch and why?
General scumminess - same as all lynches.

Mind elaborating how Betiko asking that question makes him scummy to you?

He's trying to figure out who is the most trusted person and then mentions your name, what immediately triggered something in me saying he was trying to put you on a good stand with the rest of us. I'm thinking something's going on between both of you.

That does look a little fishy. Not asking the question I didn't find that fishy, but that he is leading that he can trust rodion and then he is the one that questions the vote on Betiko

MOB. Leitz's vote lacked a reasoning and I asked for it. You are making it seem like I gave Leitz a scare for voting a supposed scumbuddy of mine, even though I did not threaten Leitz with a vote nor a FOS. The "coincidence" you noticed should take a backstage to whether the question I asked had to be asked or not.
Player A quote a post from player B, then said it was fishy and voted him. Player C asked for A's reasoning on voting B. Do you think C's question is warranted or unwarranted?
If you think it is unwarranted, then yeah, you could feel proud of finding a "connection" in the beginning of the D1. If the question is warranted, though, you only shot a blank.

Somehow I already feel like I'm missing a couple of things...
Rodion could you quote the post you are referring to?
As for linking betiko and rodion. I can see the argument against betiko but linking rodion to him based on that seems like a big leap of faith.

I don't understand why Betiko credited Rodion with a little more trust than the rest of us. I haven't played with many of you enough to know everyone's style, including Rodion's.
However, I don't think Bet's question is any more scummy than anything else we've talked about today. I find it weird that he suggested Rodion might be more trustworthy than others given the stage of the game we are, but I don't think we would be paying it any attention if there was anything else to go on.

And I also just wanted to bring these into light, because rodis post was just after betikos again. I guess I did take a leap of faith as strike said. I find it weird that betiko says those questions make rodian seem most trustable.
I feel like it could be a small slipup from betiko and Rodi sees it and wanted to protect him. Letting betiko know that he shouldn't be trusted as much as anyone else. Again I feel like this is something Rodi would do, to monitor a scummate's posts. And I feel like that lone unvote, is a whisper to betiko to unvote.
These are ALL shots in the dark with no real evidence. It's just what my eyes caught, nothing more or nothing less. I'm not even saying its a case that needs to be driven and they need to be pressured.
I only gave out FOS and thats all its gets right now in my eyes, but IGMEOY both

it s funny how trying to make the game advance always makes you the most suspicious. regarding rodion, it s more that i think his approach with that type of question had to be the one of a townie, i might be misslead, don t know yet but it was my gut feeling reading that post. i m the first one to have taken a positive position on someone as we had to start somewhere.. as I had no non joke lead on anyone being scum.
half of the guys are not saying anything and can t therefore be suspected...

I disagree. If they are not saying anything they can be suspected. We should look at the inactives and put on some pressure. Its late here and I need to sleep I will look again tomorrow. It always makes sense to me to pressure an inactive as the could be scum or if they don't play better to get rid now than have dead weight later when votes could be needed.

I agree that inactivity itself can be grounds for suspicion. However, I have just reviewed all players and all players in the game have posted within the last 48 hours. Obviously some more active than others, but far from deadbeats at this point. Dates are as of my own timezone I imagine.

Agreed on this. However, I don't think that's something that we will be able to lean on in Day 1 in this game because I believe people will be more active as it's an
official game.
I can kind of see the betiko and Rodion arguments. However, it's has enough WIFOM that it basically just leaves you using your gut either way you decide to lean. So, I can't really see a great case being made. I do like putting pressure on people when nothing is happening though, because I think it reveals things. So,

Well honestly I'm not really buying into any of the current cases...I don't really think there's anything to Rodion's questioning of leitz, I don't really find the betiko case that strong and the rodion is basically non-existant. If anything I buy the betiko case more than the others but I still find it fairly weak even for day 1.

Of course it's weak, but so are most cases on day 1. Rodion's asking for a reasoning is... about as non-scummy as things get, though.
Betiko's questions, "would you be ok with lynching the person below you" and "who do you trust" are odd, though. If everyone answered honestly they could be used to figure out scumbuddies or mason/lover partners. But expecting honest answers is foolish in the first place, so what's he after?

Was the first question not asked by Rodion?
Anyway I did not find either question particularly scummy. To me it just seemed like 2 guys trying to get some kind of conversation going which can only be a good thing.

You're right, Rodion asked the first one. I must've gotten that mixed up somehow.
ok...
Then we have betiko asking one weird question, and Rodion asking a weird question and later a non-scummy question. I'm still leaning towards putting pressure on betiko, though.

what I exactly said is "let s put the question the other way; out of the 16 who do we trust a little?"
and I said that for me it was rodion for the question I asked giving my reason. I just think that scums will do anything to avoid starting constructive reasoning too soon so that we can randomly lynch one of us and we run out of time.
I said "trust a little" meaning that I don t fully trust rodion, but I am likely to do so because I think the question he asked would help and he s the first one to really ask something game related that could help us in our decision.
I perfectly knew that asking this question I would put myself in the front line, as no one started at that point taking positions (other than for joking). Now, objectively, would waiting for other players to answer this question make me necesairly scum? i knew that asking this i would get a few votes, but there is a bit too much of band wagoning here in my opinion..
If I didn t want to take any risk I would ve just asked if peter crouch got dumped by his girlfriend for unapropriately signing for stoke city! :-p
