You'd b sucked into a black hole. There is still some speculation as to whether a black hole is a hyperbola, meaning it has an entry and an exit, or a ellipsis, meaning it is a single entry. A hyperbola would prove the existence of white hole, which is pretty much where matter is spewed out from. But an ellipsis would have all the matter sucked in indefinetely.

i believe the more prevelant theory is that the matter that goes in is transformed into gamma rays and stream out both ends in a straight line..ie matter into energy...

I prefer rational explanations like these to hypothetical ones that math equations suggest such as multiverses. I know the math adds up...but that doesnt mean they arent missing something in the equation... An infinite number of universes where every possibility happens, just seems a little far fetched... i generally understand how it can be used to explain quantum behavior, but until everyone signs off on it with some proof, im going to have to reamain just a bit skeptical

I really can't get myself to believe in the multiverse...

And wouldn't the idea of gamma ray particles shot on either side of the black hole be impossible since the photographs we take of black holes and their surrounding area measure all kinds of wavelengths?

No-one has ever taken a picture of a Black Hole, since they are still a theory. A theory supported by a lot of evidence, but a theory nontheless.

Of course, anything coming in or out of a Black Hole should be Red-shifted to infinity, no matter how powerful it is.

I think they actually DO spit out gamma rays and stuff at the "poles". At least a program I saw some time ago claimed so.

they do give off some energy called Hawkign radiation. Can't remember why.

Re: multiverses - the other explanation for quantum behaviour is that the act of observing, or measuring really, is what causes wavefunction collapses. I think. Anyway it is just as much of a headfark.

I read a book about multiverses and things at quantum level, like quantum possibilities, and it explained alot to me about things like that, even though it was fiction. It was called "the Last Universe." It was quite interesting.

Another scientific topic - what do you think the evolution pattern will lead to in 100 million yearS?

I don't know :? I mean, by then, no doubt, society will have collapsed and there will be no mass civilization, and no electricity, so we may have been reduced back to how the aboriginals and natives lived, and we may have evolved to live in the blistering sun, due to global warming, so we'll probably just live like the natives did, just with more adaptaions maybe.

well one thing for sure sooner or later much later the sun will expan killing every thing on earth and then destroy the earth
so if man dont get of this planet and go to another planet or live in space he will be gone for ever

Ya, I read that there is this little red zone that is a safe place to live within, and it's at a limit where things can't survive when their past the red zone, because it will either be too cold or too hot, so by the time the red zone reaches mars, and it's very close to leaving earth, we have to start building a civilization on mars

We'll still turn into something weird in the process of changing planets.
