The last person who said something as stupid as this hasn't been seen in this thread in a while. You should try to learn to not be an idiot before you post.
I forgot who Pippen said could end up being better than Jordan...it sure as hell wasn't Dirka.
But you're an idiot anyway who disses hockey, so I shouldn't expect any less from you. Oh wellz. =/

At least they're not annoying as the NFL draft analysts who literally change their opinions every fucking day. It's beyond me how Mel Kiper Jr. is even employed considering how moronic his job is.

What a game.
First back to back wins of this series.
First back to back loses for the Heat in the Playoffs
and the First Mavs lead in this series.

whitestazn88 wrote:It all really had to do with Boozer's careless flagrant foul. Both he and Noah really hurt the Bulls throughout the entire series. For one, they didn't play up to their regular season statistics, let alone the heightened level of play that the playoffs, and especially a conference final, and even more so when you get a chance to beat the Heat(les, big 3, whatever you wanna call them), require of these athletes. To compound things, Boozer looked so confused throughout the series defensively, he did more to hurt them than help them. For example, he got bitched by Chris Bosh on multiple occasions (see Bosh's 38 point game) and from game 5, the commentators often cited his slowness on rotations, lack of fighting through screens, etc.
While Rose, Deng, (and although I dislike him from his UF days) and Noah are an excellent core with superb heart, and with Korver as an excellent option as a release valve on broken down plays or for spot up shooting, Boozer seems to not buy into the system. He thinks he can just throw his body around wherever he feels, and thinks that is enough. The system set in place by Thibodeau requires excellent team defense, bookended by the bigs. Noah is contributing, Boozer is not.

This has nothing to do with me liking the Bulls as a team, and more to do with me not wanting the Heat to have made the finals.
Alas, the series should be a tough one, great athleticism from the Heat versus the veteran savvy of the Mavericks, combined with Dirk's determination to exorcise the demons from 2006, I say Mavs in 7.
And, Wizards get into the playoffs at either the 7th or 8th seed next year, as the east will probably allow a team that goes 39-43 to sneak into the spring tournament.
Still standing with my prediction.

El Heat had a good run near the middle of the 4th quarter after being about 9 down, but we just missed tooooo many shots at the end. Too many missed free throws and too many poor outside shots.
Fully capable of winning two straight at home, but just gotta keep our eyes on the first one.

I really want to see lebron get 35 next game, with 15 in the 4th and have the heat still lose. That way all the people at espn would spend the next year trying to figure out what the f*ck happened. Plus I want to see Dirk get the ring, because Miami will win in the next couple years

One of my biggest flaws is that I am way too sympathetic to professional atheletes. I remember a few years back when Jeff Weaver pitched for the Yankees (keep in mind I'm a Red Sox fan), I felt so bad for him because he was absolutely terrible. My dad who's a hardcore Yankees fan wanted Weaver's head on a platter.
Anyway, I feel really bad for both Dirk and Kidd because they're both spectacular, modest players who deserve rings. Terry on the other hand is pretty annoying and full of himself so I would rather he not get one. But since I'm a Heat fan, it kind of sucks that I have to root against them.

Oh my fucking God. Firstly, GET EDDIE HOUSE OUT OF THE FUCKING GAME. He has been absolutely horrendous in this game and the last one. He's a terrible defender and has been shooting like shit. Secondly, f*ck you Spoelstra. The Heat should've been full-court pressing the entire fourth quarter. Jesus fucking christ. I was sick to my stomach with 2 minutes left. I've never liked Spoelstra and this is just more hate-fuel.
Mavs played well. Heat need to pick up a Barea type energy guy in the off season. As a defensive minded player in every sport, it fucking pisses me off to see no full court pressing when they need it.

Dallas just kept making shots the whole night, dirk had a a terrible first half a they manage to stay in the game, the whole 4th quarter miami just gave up, the were flat footed on D, didn't get any rebounds, and just looked done for from the start if the 4th

Nah, Wade is different. Barea isn't a top guy like Wade is. He's mostly a bench player that gives it all no matter what. Not that I'm saying Wade gives up, but when the Heat are losing by 10 with 20 seconds left he won't really try. Barea is that kind of a guy that tries no matter what, and I can't help but love that. He's not the most skilled player ever but he tries his heart out.
Anyway, enjoy it oVo. It'll be their first and only for a long time =D

Also, it's kind of bittersweet because I am very happy for Nowitzki and Kidd. Terry's still a cunt though and I hope he has to give up his ring.

Ha! Jet was the Player of the Game and came up huge
in the first half while Dirk struggled.
Dirk is the MVP of these Finals, a well deserved award.
It was a TEAM win in every sense of the word. Everyone contributed throughout these playoffs --not just the lineup versus the Heat-- and it isn't just Berea that has no quit in them.
What press conference did you listen to Crazy Irish? Jason Kidd and Rick Carlyle could not have been any clearer or more precise in the post game comments they made. Btw... Dwayne Wade is not just an amazing athlete, he's a class act all the way through.
The remarks made about the Super Three for the Heat not playing big is total BS, this was an awesome finals and aside from not prevailing, those guys have nothing to be ashamed of. I realize that to many people anything short of a Championship is failure with such amazing talent, but it was still a helluva year for Miami. This series was a complete role reversal of the 2006 Finals where a young Mavs team choked. Dallas was out coached and outplayed in the last four games of that series when they squandered the home court advantage and came up short

Classy. Wade flops, Wade needed a wheel chair to get off the court when he hurt his SHOULDER, he acts like he's been shot on the sidelines, leaves the game because of his hip, comes back, plays with seemingly no pain until after the final whistle, when he then limps pathetically away. More class.

Bosh doesn't really have anything to be ashamed of, Wade doesn't really have anything to be ashamed of, but James certainly does. He choked. He can't win the big one. He disappeared for long stretches. He's dishing off to Howard, instead of attacking. He's a great talent, but we've seen this play out before (last year with Cleveland against Boston, anyone?). Compare James with Jordan? He doesn't compare favorably to Pippen right now, let alone Michael Jordan.

Great finals, Mavs deserved it! The Heat didn't trust each other enough to dig themselves out of a hole. Looked like they just gave up in the last 5 min. They'll get there though, interested in seeing who they bring in for next years run!

All's fair during the series Serb, if they were dissing Dirk it just adds fuel to the Mavs determination to finish it in six. My comment was thinking of his conduct on and off the court once it was done and the Heat's title run was kapudt.

Have you ever played a sport? Now, have you ever played with an injury? If you have, you would know that you pretty much don't even feel the pain during the game, but it hits you like a right hook as soon as the game is over.
Also, LeBron is a different player than Jordan. Everyone expects LeBron to be a scorer all the time...that isn't him. Back in Cleveland people ate him alive for passing on the buzzer beater to a wide open three point shooter (couldn't remember who it was) who missed I think. His teammates (keyword: teammates) are professional athletes too. Howard got fouled on that play (but missed both free throws, which he shouldn't have). If either Wade or Miller hit their buzzer beaters we would be talking about Dirk choking and not LeBron.
In fact, Dirk already "choked" in 2006. But now since he won a championship he's redeemed himself? And were you even watching the Celtics and Bulls series? LeBron literally owned the fourth quarters, especially the close out games.
Jordan had an amazing team behind his back and that's why he was able to do so well. That's fucking inarguable. He also played for one of the greatest coaches ever. LeBron has time. People enjoy obsessing over his recent failures though.
