"Also, a new policy on joining games. I will gave players 48 hours from the time games are sent out...failure to join will result in a strikeout (batters) or giving up a single (pitchers). " Does that rule then apply?..it was longer than 48 hours.

Sent out late maps for ongoing Game 2s...will update boxscores over the weekend. Also, looking to get Game 3s starting over the weekend...good luck all. Should be some important games in this next batch.

I hate to lose, but I am glad a no hitter was broken up in the final inning. That would have been embarrassing.

Underneath the current batch of boxscores there are links to tournament stats for each team...this compiles the stats for players throughout each game of the tournament. I update these after each game goes final, so some have two games and some teams are only showing Game 1 at the moment.

Just trying to figure out a way to avoid deadbeats...but this seemed pretty harsh for the two remaining teammates, so I'm trying to figure out a more fair way to resolve those issues.

so according to the rules u miss ur turn like i said up top..well this is my 2nd in a row where after 48 they havent joined..to be fair i would like the SAID RULES from page 1 to be instilled...not my fault..i take my turns..and if every round someone is missng their turn or there is a replacement player i would like to be awarded the penalty..ive already let the "RULE" go once..wich is almsot unfair..so to be clear - 48 hour if no one joins than the penalty u posted on page 1 applies? if not please count me out of the next round.. sick of this ..every round ..

I just checked and it appears those games have all been joined up...perhaps someone was just away for the weekend. But yes, I'll start enforcing that rule...giving people a couple days to join, sending out one invite reminder and once those invites expire it will go to the forfeit.

Flex, don't sweat it. You run a lot of great tournaments! You have a lot to keep up with. We all accidently forget to join games at times. I do it and I only play 40 games at a time. I'm sure that people who are playing 300 forget a few more. When you get a PM to join a game its harder to get into it, because I found that if I dont right that second I forget to come back later. I tell people 24 hours in my tournaments, but I always send them invites till they get in. People make mistakes, they forget, we are all busy with life. I know I wouldnt want to be hurt in a tournament because I forgot to join a game because I got distracted by life, and therefore I send the same courtesy to people. If someone dead beats out of a game, different story, but someone forgets to join a game, I think you give them the benefit of the doubt! GREAT TOURNEY FLEX!!! WELL DONE!!

Lmfao...dude ive waited for almost a week..what other rules are "soft rules" ...dude if this is the way this is ran..please drop me from my team...what else are you letting slide...you set rules ..you should atleast follow them..like i said if this is the way this is going to be ran..(u make the rules and for some reason dont follow them) then i want out..its bullshit to be honest..almost a week,,,so should i now pull out the game ..how long do i get,.,do i get a week..i should get a 4 months for the the time ive waited..id of pitched a perfect game by the definition of your rules..please if your not going to enforece your rules take me out..id hate to be in a important game and you decide to "suddenly enforce the rules""

Get off his back, Flex is an easy going TO that tries to give people a little leeway. Does it really matter to you if it takes a couple days extra for people to join? Wouldn't you rather win than have someone forfeit to you? He does a great job running a bunch of labor intensive tournaments, and he doesn't need people giving him a hard time.

Thats twice now you've jumped on flex, and twice people have had his back. That should tell you something. Poohcrumbs you should drop out, you don't even deserve to be playing in this tournament!

I second this sentiment.

I don't even need to look at poopcrumb's profile to know he has never run a tournament before and has zero clue how much work is involved for the TO.

Consider that flex is giving up large amounts of his time for no reward, you should think twice before bitching.
