And the last time somebody used code here in a mafia game, it turned out that player was mafia (AK). Only would mafia uses code in a game in my opinion.

Lets say for the sake of agruement, that with 18 players in this game, that 4 are mafia. 4 people are killed already, none of which have been mafia, leaving 14 players 4 that are mafia. Doesn't it seem weird to you that trestain would make such a risky move with still so many mafia left? With 1 Doctor killed already to boot?

Plus, if I was mafia, wouldn't I just keep going along trying to get RD lynched, keep what I found out about Trestain to my mafia partners, then kill him off durning the next night? If I was mafia, there would be no reason for me to call him out on being Doctor, cause that would be something I could be with the other mafia in PMs.

what if he's just a little bit not-so-smart?
so what do you think of RD's "healing powers" claim. it seemed desperate to me. Trestain probably thought he was taking a risk, but he says he saw the discussion going the wrong way.
