Well, I predict that this will turn into a mass claim before the end. Probably by day 3 i predict. While it won't completely ruin the game (there are enough characters in eragon that fake-claims wouldnt be too hard) it will make it a lot easier to find scum.

So as long as you aren't scum you would want to speed that up right?

Well, yes and no. While mass claims almost always make it easier to win themed games, they also leave a bitter taste in your mouth. I prefer to try to figure out scum earlier and then use a mass claim as a last resort

This is the problem, I haven't actually read the book. I don't actually know the details, but I'm sure I could wikipedia it. This is also why I hate having named roles because then name claiming can occur.

annoucment
rules have been posted. the only real diffrence (from normal) is in these 2 rules
2. Do not quote any PMs you receive from Me. I assure you they are all slightly different, so even having people discuss your win condition, how many words are in your role PM, or any other kind of way to get around not quoting PM’s is REALLY a bad idea in this game.
4. i dont care about unvotes, but All ‘votes’ and must be in bold. If they are not, they will not be tallied. (I.E. Vote: Skoffin) If you vote two or more times consecutively without an unvote in between them, then the last vote will be the one that gets tallied.

Considering this game took a month or so to get started. I would like it to last more than two weeks. Mass claims are always weird. I've only been in one game where there was a mass claim I think.

Well, did anyone come up with anything over the night that would actually be worth revealing themselves in order to tell us?

Wow, that's a serious power role. I get the feeling we have a good amount of inactives, I'm pretty sure that's the reason for the long night even if I am metagaming a bit.

Duday, he was in my mason group. I knew who he was and what his abilities were. I am a role blocker, if there was any reason to assume that he was this vulnerable I would have protected him. I assumed that he was similar to a Godfather, and have various wards that would fade as days passed.

Hey an idea guys? Could naxus take up one of the rolls that have been totally inactive? Seems like a good way to keep momentum going in this game, otherwise we will have even more difficulty lynching the scum.

Darn, that was a bad kill. He didn't do anything to stick out did he? Not from what I remember. Pure (un)luck then.

Considering he was masoned with people thus had the chance to get info about some players roles I'd say that is a pretty bad idea. Unless of course he'd replace one of the players he was allowed to talk to but then that would give away info to all about his new role and that isn't such a good idea either.

Oh I see. Well I didn't know. One of the people I am masoned with is inactive.. So I don't even know if he is special or not.
But did anyone find anything worth telling us? Like an investigation?

Night kill proof blatantly pro-town power roles are kind of overpowered... Also since you claimed that he was in your group, do you want to give us any more details there?

How exactly would you have "protected him" with your ability to block roles?

Jail keeper basically. They can't do anything, nothing can be done to them. I didn't protect him because I was aware of his night kill abilities and thought he might desire to use it.

Do we want to roleclaim? No cops have come forward at this point so I assume they are AWOL. We really wont get anywhere just accusing each other of scum tells in the posts.

Man, I think too many people are away. Without more discussion from more people, it's going to be more or less a dead game.
