Why is the number of escalating players decreasing? I used to play a lot of them, I even had the choice to pick from different maps. Right now I have 15-20 max escalating games going and its getting harder to find people to play them.

I'd have no problem joining any of those games CD, but the problem is I'm a major again. Kind of ironic that the 2 people that worked to come up with this are the 2 that can't play. lol. Also I'm going on vacation next week so I'm trying to cut back so that my dad doesn't have to take as many of my turns... I don't wanna kill the opposition. lol. When I'm back, if I'm back up to colonel, I'll join some more games. Then I'll kick your but CD.

to be honest...i have my hat back, but am not joining any because i have 4 gray squares which means ill be back down soon enough...once i close out the games im in...im going to make a nice little push for points....its pretty much my system now...get them spend them....

To be honest, I don't really care if you're a colonel or not... If everyone in the games are ok with you joining you should join.

im back baby...i was just gifted a 6 player escalating game....nothing like getting to a game and only having to kill 5 armies right next to you to collect 55 in cards....

Okay, there seems to be a lot about this lately... so I'm considering changing the rules. I would like some feedback on it though. Would you guys like to have any of the people that we approve to be able to join, as long as they are "Colonel Material" if you know what I mean. For example, they are close to it but not quite there or have been there before and lost some unlucky games or something like that. Let me know, and maybe we can change that stipulation if people want to. I'm not trying to run a dictatorship here, I want what's best for everyone.

if your just looking for input....i think 2000 is just the easiest and most clear


i really dont care...but I think more colonels will play with just colonels and less will drop if non colonels are in....again me...not much of a stickler...

besides...it does kind of make keeping the 2K more valuable...and when they change the ranks...the grouping may have to be called something different and they spoke of other alternatives altogether...so thats my vote...but...if most dont mind if its flexible, i say go for it...

and for the record...almost all colonels have the password...if someone asks...just give it to them if they are a colonel...and if you see someone become one, send it over...when i first did it i could tell who i sent them to, but now its all by memory...the more the merrier

I think that people that proved themselves should be allowed even though they're close to 2000 but not there. I played a lot of Elite games even as high score and I would play them if there were some. Lately there aren't to many Elite games, apart from doubles. (I guess I'll have to change my style ). And I didn't see many colonels joining these games. Apart from 4-5 colonels that post here and 10 that play these games, the rest of them seem to not care that much.

i did kind of figure they might die down a bit...i was hoping they might last long enough to keep us going to the update....i lost a ton of points, but that was the most fun ive had on here since i started....i especially like the 3 and 4 player games....where one little mistake throws the game away...

part of the problem is not many people read callouts...which i never did until these got started here...but no reason we cant enjoy them....i can put together another pm for next week to remind the past active players, and some of the newer colonels...its time consuming, but not that bad

You're right, not many read this and its mostly because they wouldn't find ranked games. We need to make it known about these games.
