He does, but he's not going to answer your questions. Instead he's going to post something to get off-topic because he really can't address your questions or points without looking a tad bit more stupid.

Absolutely not.
certainly, in a matter of self defense............
It seemed painfully obvious to me (and I'm sure everyone else) that you were speaking in a sense of what we do as a nation, rather than what we do as individuals. No need to be dishonest, Scotty.

Wait, you mean, what's the difference between trying and punishing a guy through the legal system as opposed to trying and punishing his face with a tire iron?
Ah, Bill Laden, the lesser-known younger brother. He's a nice guy, you wouldn't believe the trouble he has with that name. He's trying to get everyone to call him William now, I hear.

Yes. Still no answer...
We've decided the latter is cruel and unusual?

I chuckled.

Isn't that such a nice story!
I can't believe that Osama bin Laden guy. He really tarnished the name of his father's company, Bin Laden Construction Company. Chanting all that rabble rabble anti-Western, anti-family Saudi rhetoric put a pretty big dent in that company's public relations.
But as the saying goes: "Like water under the bridge, right, guys?"

Oh, I don't care if someone hits him in the face with a tire iron... as long as he's tried and convicted first. I'm looking forward to phatscotty's answer to my original question, is all.

oh, didnt know it was for me. I dont have an issue with the trial. My whole point is I prefer a military tribunal, and whatever rights our military grants or rulles we follow is just fine with me. I think going the Criminal trial route is a huge mistake. my position is as simple as that. This is not by any means a minority opinion. It is actually the majority opinion, as this poll here reflects almost exactly similar polls that are coming out today on the very same question, albeit the question was not as fancifully worded.
For the record, this poll does not reflect a majority of either view. I can't say much for other polls, but I don't think the one point difference could be considered significant in this case, sample size notwithstanding.

I have to admit it, Phatty, you have a talent for making threads that provoke much thought and arguments--look at how much was typed in here. The poll is even ridiculous, but it doesn't stop people from taking you so seriously. Whether or not you care to defend your points or the poll is one thing, but it's always enjoyable to see people hammer it out in your threads page after page.

for sure. Thank you for being one of the few who can see this. solely discussionary. I like to spark something just before the media and the whores get their shot to transform it into political advantage. and of course, before the other 90% get the newsflash on what and how to think.

What's this? An appeal to authority? Too bad Obama is either talking metaphorically or else out of his arse. I hope it's the former but fear the latter is more probable.
