i think i know.....
anyways, looks interesting, we'll have to see how it shapes up. one thing though; we have to come up with something more clever and risque for the ships name.... this is a pirate ships we're talkin here, not a cruiseliner!

Let's put it this way:
I could make a straight up Pirates v Ninjas map, which would be rather funny, but that would get old.
Or I could make the most ridiculous map on CC, whose hilarity would surely never die.

i got an idea for you ink. lots of boats on this map the pirates have some big boats but they send alot of mini mots to strike the marine boats. The mini boats can one way attack marine boats and marine boats can bombard pirates big boats. so it looks like a real war on the sea.

i personally would prefer just pirates vs ninjas... however, everyone else seems to want everything in there so i think you should do that. in that case, i think we need to come up with at least 8 'factions', with starting points being he faction's headquarters, somewhat similar to, say, aor. each faction you start with has unique starting benefits and you can gain more as your conquer other headquarters

This isn't conquest game play as things stand... I'm not really interested in making a conquest map honestly. Maybe I can be convinced otherwise.

you should make it an assassin type map..
If you have ___ you must kill ____ to win
8 factions is good too

I can't see the map.... It kills my dail-up. I can see the top part, and then it turns to a red X. Looks like there is too much water though for the all of the factions....
8 factions?
-Zombies
-Aliens
-Pirates
-Ninjas
-Robots
I'm just spitballin' here..... Hmm... silly things that people are afraid of....
Clowns? Vampires? Dentists? Cigarette Executives? Ghosts? Dinosaurs? Witches? Proctologists? The Snuggle Bear(my fear)? Hillbillies? Psycologists? Fat camp? Sea Monsters/sharks/mermaids? Librarians? Llamas? Cowboys? Nude Beach? Time travelers (space ships too)? Carnaval workers? Horney Baboons? the French(zing!)?
I think that there are some pretty good ones in there. Especially since we only need three. A bit hard graphics wise though?
The Hillbillies, some type of Doctor, and Clowns would get my vote.
I'll try to help as much as I can without seeing the map....

Alright, I've been thinking a lot about how the game play should work, and the following are what I think are our options:
1) Have the current four factions, with non-conquest game play. This would have the current layout, as well as leaving a lot of room for making this map even more ridiculous.
2) Just have the map be Pirates vs. Ninjas. It would be rather like Arms Race, in that there are two sides, but again - no conquest game play. I think this way would have rather normal game play, probably require more detail in graphics, and be generally less funny.
3) Have a conquest map with 8 factions. This would give less space for each faction, and would require an entirely different layout. The problem with this is I'd have less room to the quirky bonuses I'm planning on (such as having the Zombies + a turtle giving a bonus), and I'd also have trouble coming up with 8 good factions (some of Juan's examples above might work, but others would just be stupid, like dinosaurs or clowns...)
4) This idea just occurred to me. Game-play wise, I think it's the most intriguing, though again, some of those bonuses and references that I really want to include would probably have to be dropped. This version's theme would only have Pirates, Ninjas and Zombies. On one side, there would be a mountain, which would give way to a beach. On the top of the mountain is the ninja monastery, on the beach are zombies (which are all neutral), and in the ocean and partially landed on the beach are the pirates (possibly on a little island too). This would be non-conquest. The game play would force players to take a side, and then to go through the zombies to take the other one out.
So what do you guys think? Which one should I choose? Do you have any other completely different ideas? Should I put up a poll with these four?

You Turkey, I liked the clowns idea.... I was trying to make this as quirkey as possible. I thought I had enough good ideas for the factions, as I could think of no more(that weren't offensive to somebody)....
Plus, like I said, It's hard to help, because I have no idea what is going on on the map....

I'm a 50-50 on this idea. It does need some work, because right now, there's no motivation to be the first to attack. It'll end up with everyone just amassing for 1,000 rounds. It might work if you do something like the MAZE CRAZE MAP, where the impassables are all nuetrals.
8 factions would be the quirkiest, yet two would be the easiest to fit actual jokes into.

You know what I mean... dinosaurs and clowns aren't actually the worst there. I'd probably choose vampires, werewolves, robots, and then either sea monsters on dinosaurs...

This can easily be avoided. First of all, the infected neutrals only grow every round, and eventually you're going to border a neutral 4, which will begin to attack you. So there's that. I could also give the ninjas the ability to attack one-way from a cliff to the heart of the zombies, and the pirates bombarding ability, etc. As well as making bonuses available for holding zombie territory. Plenty of possibilities here.
The more I think about it, the more I like that idea, actually... Maybe the most zombies could be on a territory called "Turtle"
Plus, like I said, It's hard to help, because I have no idea what is going on on the map....
That's why this is still in the ideas forum... still needs a plan of development. Once we're set on that, I can really get the ball rolling.

I think its fits outside the beach. Ofc the pirates and marines have support boats connected to beach for support run where they need to run trough zombie infested terretories:D

Whenever you get a full image up for this map, I suggest you check this place out:
