No question the final map would not be in Paint. It was all I had at work, and I think I'd need to work with a good artist who uses Illustrator or something for a final version.

I have a few small edits I've thought of to the territory boundaries. And I like the idea of the groin attacking the brain. That's funny.

I know people have suggested similar ideas before, but I do think it's a viable idea. Not everyone has to like every map.

If you answer the poll, please leave a reply why it was bad or good.

But why not do a specific organ system. The Nervous System perhaps...

Or the Digestive System. Or, if you're feelin' really froggy, the Circulatory.

This just seems like it doesn't have near enough areas.

Delts are in the wrong place. Delts are at the top of the arm, rather than the chest. You probably mean pec?

I don't get it. Who would want to play for the human body? There's not much to this. Maybe if you spice it up some I'll get it

Hey throwin, this idea comes up every month or two but is always dropped. you may want to search the foundry history for past threads to see why they failed, as it may help you to avoid the same problems.

Also, please read How to Make a Map...

the map (or the post) must also include a few basic things for easy reference such as: number of countries currently on the map, the number of continents, descriptions of any unique features or areas

Seriously, tho, I think the human body might be a touch weird for most people's taste. Plus the human body itself, being bipedal, is a bit too stretched out to make an effective map.

I voted no by the way because the current map isn't interesting at all. It has a bunch of linear attack lines. Nothing interesting about the outside of a human body for a CC map.

But, I think the inside of a human body would make for a much better map

you could use the blood stream, digestive system, etc...

there's so many possibilities you have there. lungs connect to bloodstream. heart obviously would be a big part of it.

there could be a lot of one way attacks if you want to be realistic about it.

yes, the map does load for the rest of us.

I voted BAD, because, like others have said before me, the outside of a human body just isnt that interesting. all there is to see is lots of skin, bits of hair, and a few unmentionables. if you chose to do the inside of a human body, you could have so much variety!

A heart that can attack every country because of the bloodstream.

Brain that can attack every muscle.

continents based on organ systems (respiratory, skeletal, digestive, etc.)

there is so much more. I strongly reccomend that you attempt to make a map bout the inside, rather than the outside.

Human Body

Continents=Systems

Digestive:
Mouth, Throat, Stomach, Small Intestine, Large Intestine, Anus!

Respiratory:
Throat, Left Lung, Right Lung

Ect.

As many systems as someone wants to include - Nervous, Reproductive, ect.

I guess it'd be similar to the railroad maps, where you attack on a line, but their overlap to other systems, like Respiratory and Digestive share the throat...

I'd image Circulatory becomes the most powerful, essentially being able to attack just about anywhere on the body. Good luck holding it.

Could even go with a virus v white blood cell theme or something.

This is one brilliant idea, but you should probably exclude the reproductive system but if you choose to use it you should pick the female reproductive system. Try to exclude the pubic regions! Brain should be easiest to control and to control other areas of the body.

Ok, this is a really old thread, but I'm going to revive it because I had a similar idea.

I'm thinking the arms, legs and head would be skin, with the abdomen and chest cutaway, showing a bunch of organs and such. For the appendages, they would each have a color (I dunno what term you guys use for that. The groups that you get bonuses for.) So like the left arm would be an upper arm, an elbow, forearm, hand, and fingers. Fingers could be interesting. I was thinking they could attack a bunch of places, like the face and such. In the abdomen/chest, each system would be a bonus.

I dunno. It's a really rough idea, and has probably been suggested to death, but I think it could be cool if done right.

Also, I'm terrible at drawing, so I wouldn't be able to make it really.
