I wish I had seen this before it started! Futurama is one of my favorite shows!
I read through the quotes and didn't see a couple of my favorites. Since I can't be in the tournament I think I'll contribute with some more fond memories:

Ok, I'll be doing a full update tomorrow night, we should be pretty close to startring round 3, so games may be ready for the third round as early as tomorrow night!

Postpone the update till tomorrow afternoon, I am dead tired...

Going pretty good, a couple games left to finish, I'll give it one more day before making 3rd round games, by then we should be almost completely finished with 2nd round games, if not totally completed.

There are some interesting goings on in the brackets, the Human Bracket is 1-2-3-4 seed wise, but the rest is upset city, so I encourage taking a peek at the brackets, they're interesting.

Ok, I'll have a bit more time tomorrow afternoon to get everything together, and see if we can't get a couple more games completed. But either way, things will be started up for the 3rd round tomorrow afternoon, for sure!!!

Good news everyone!
I've updated the overall brackets on page 10, check it out!

Tazza is replaced by uh... me. Tazza has been MIA since the 5th and I hate to replace anyone, especially so late into the compition, but we're falling behind, so a day or two to complete the other sweet 16 games and we'll get onto the elite 8!

Not to be a dick, but I have a slight problem with this. All of us who are in the Elite 8 had to win 3 games to get here. I understand it sucks that someone has gone AWOL at this point in the tournament, but I think that player should just forfeit and whoever their opponent was should get a bye into the next round. Bringing in a new player who hasn't had to win the first 3 games to get here, in my opinion tarnishes the illegitimacies of this tournament, especially if that replacement goes on to win.

Again, maybe this is just me. Idk.

I understand where you're coming from, and I gave a lot of time to Tazza trying to avoid this kinda thing... especially since I'm the reserve...

The other side is that the one player gets a pass and doesn't win the same ammount of games too, it's kinda lose-lose. Either way amazzony will probably mop the floor with me anyways, so problem solved!

Here's a blow up of the remaining round brackets. The final for the Aliens is waiting for one game to finish. PM's have gone out with the Alien final just waiting for it's participants.
