Hello everyone...the brackets have been released and first-round bouts set up...hold on for awhile Russell Crowe and Bernard Hopkins...you will be waiting for the brackets to finish before finding out which contender you will face.

First-round bouts will be 8 rounds
Second-round and the bout for the top contender with be 10 rounds
USA and International Division championships will be 12 rounds
World Title bout will also be 12 rounds.

Play will be as it was during the regular season...the higher seeded boxer (red in the bracket) gets his map first. For the World Title bout the boxer with the most regular-season prize money will be considered the higher seed.

Good luck to all...

***Also, note you will have 3 days to either enter your bout or pm me with a reason for the delay or it will be considered a forfeit.

Note in the final weeks...Muhamed Ali was granted a split decision (he lost the first map) when his opponent Rubin Carter failed to answer the bell for the second map in Week 11.

Also, Rafael Marquez earned a forfeit KO when his opponent Russell Crowe failed to show for his bout.

I'll update the bracket Sunday night, but some early results are in and the biggest surprise was No. 8 seed Mike Tyson handing No. 1 Rubin Carter a KO in the last round on the WWII Western map. Other early winners are Tommy Hearns in the USA Rankings and Rocky Balboa and Nigel Benn in the International rankings.

Sugar Ray Leonard avoids an early KO attempt, just getting to the 11th round against Rocky Marciano to force the match to map #2. On Great Lakes, bad dice stunned Marciano and he was taken out in 6.

That sets up a bracket final between Tommy Hearns and Sugar Ray in the USA bracket with Bernard Hopkins awaiting the winner.

Tommy "The Hit Man" Hearns hits his groove at the right time, knocks out Bernard Hopkins, and awaits whatever lily-ass fighter Europe sends over.

Well said Easy...good luck to the USA representative.

Yes, Tommy Hearns is the USA champion after taking out Bernard Hopkins in 7 rounds on the Arctic map.

The International Division has Rocky Balboa taking on Nigel Benn for the No. 1 contender spot.

I'll update brackets by the end of the weekend.

Hi guys...just reporting a tournament winner for our Boxing Champions League.

• Denominator (Rocky Balboa) won the tournament with an 8th round knockout against Easy N' Dirty (Thomas Hearns) on the Malta Map.

Other details:
Denominator finished with a tourney-best 12-4 record, finishing second in the International Division during the regular season before scoring three early KOs and winning a unanimous decision to take the International title belt.

Easy N Dirty was sixth in the USA rankings during the regular season, but scored four KOs (including against me) to survive the bracket and claim the USA title belt.

Congrats to denominator on winning a tough tournament without too many cuts and bruises :)

Thanks for playing everyone...I hope it was fun.

thanks, flex

Thanks for running this tournament flex... it's too bad I can only sorta take credit for the win. Although I did play for the first half+ (racking up all 4 of my losses in the process), It.Pie covered games for me through June and July when I was away.

So a lot of the credit also goes to It.Pie for winning this one.
