Agreed. Knew I'd hate this round when I saw the map for it, but I'm just trying to survive it.

I'm the opposite - hated the rail map, even with BOB helping I struggled enormously. I've found the US Senate much easier to play

I lost my bob when my firefox got corrupted so I'm playing blind again I suppose my reaction to rail vs senate is directly proportional to my success on each map.

I've never really liked either map but I seem to be doing ok at the moment. Bumped my score up a bit anyway

I have never used bob or firefox. do they help you play? whether or not I like the map hopefully does not effect my play. Personally I don't care for the apocolypse map either, but if I get eliminated before then, I suppose I won't have to worry about it.

they help out a bit...it tells you how many armies people will get each turn and stuff like that

Essentially I don't have to count, BOB does it for me so it saves time. Helps in things like the speed World 2.1.
