If there isn't much substance to go on, why the hell are you voting Fircoal?

FOS:jnd

Don't vote for the sake of voting. Jesus Christ, the guy could be lynched because of all these 'joke votes', and then we wouldn't have anything to go on when Day 2 rolls around.

Right... nothing of substance has happened as of yet, but the only thing I would question is this post. It seems xen is getting worked up with random voting fircoal that happens at the beginning of games. Hes not going to get lynched by random votes, its how the game begins people vote randomly then some noob pushes hard for a fircoal lynch thinking we all want him lynched and and bam we've got a lead and he turns out scum. I don't really think theirs logic in the fos this case.

some noob? Excuse me, but by my count, Ive been playing mafia for a longer than the majority of ccers. unvote vote nagerousA direct insult!

Please read my post again, I did not call you a noob I meant a bandwagon begins on fircoal by people like you... some random noob pops in and votes fircoal thinking we all hate him and wants him down and it becomes obvious the guy is scum.

From all this reading.. I've gathered to amount to... FOS Shadowstar, Jnd94, and Willis.

Such a nice squad, don't you think?

You want reasons? Okay.

Willis - He wants to carry on tradition...
willis wrote:This is classic day 1 posting. Since no noobs have slipped up, we just throw around votes, ending in a townie death. So let's just pick someone to do that to

Why do you want to do that? Why just pick a random person, to kill them and just find out if they're townie or not? Why not actually try to find scum?
With that damn spammer Fircoal in here we may not, but we can at least try. Why just do what every other first day is like?

Jnd94 - He got pretty angry with being called a n00b. why? what's wrong with being called a n00b? He voted Fircoal on the 'not much substance so I'll just vote this person' excuse. Oh come on, at least try to get someone that looks a bit scummy. If you're so experienced, then you should pick up the slightest trait of a scum.

Shadowstar - Why would Fircoal be pushing for a lynch? If he spams, Pancake will modkill him (hopefully). You I have the least evidence for, but somehow you just tie in with the other two.

Sure, I may have them all wrong, but eh, just my opinions with reasons.

Well, Day 1 will end in a no lynch if we don't vote someone soon... So who's been the most scummy?

At this point, I'm almost willing to vote Fircoal, simply because I fear he won't contribute anything productive to the game.

Fircoal, I suggest that if you don't want to find your neck in the noose, you drop the 'Vote Mandy!!!1!!' garbage.

That is usually how day 1 is. Even if we think someone slips up, the majority of the time they are town. It is nearly impossible to find scum on day 1, which is why I said what I did

At this juncture i think it is sane of me to make the following anouncement.

I fully intend to get totally shit faced tonight, as i haven't had a drink or anything for a long time, and deserve a blowout. As there is nobody here to stop me going online in a state that would see me unfit to drive, i cannot guarantee legability, sense, or cohearence.......normal service will be resumed as and when i sober up.

This is the end of the anouncement :P

Well, with this kind of line up and after Kirby's day 1, I agree with Willis that there is little chance for someone to slip up, and I'm just glad there is a deadline here
The main problem is no one dares to bandwagon regardless of being town or scum, therefore putting pressure on no one, and going nowhere quickly.
Fortunately, we might be able to lynch Huck later when he makes drunkenly slip ups

I also argee, there isn't much chance of a slip up right now, but GA7, some people have been bandwagonning me. There reasons, aren't very good so it's close to a bandwagon. ;) Probably some of them are just voting to bandwagon. ;)

But also he voted on being called a n00b, that's pretty scummy. Fos: Jnd And also experience doesn't mean that your good. IT just means you've played a lot of games. ;)

IT didn't look like a random vote to me. If it was a random vote, then why did you give it up after Nag, posted that he meant no offence? Also, you made it seem real, not random. ;)

Well 3 votes is hardly a bandwagon, you just attract more votes naturally I think

I agree about Jnd's vote, making it look serious and explaining it was random afterwards is a bit weird.
