Name the 4 species of dragon's the champions face in the first task of the Triwizard Tournament.

The ring was the Horcrux, not the stone inside it. But that's okay. I was wrong about the Diadem anyways.

Yes, and the stone was the horcrux, since that is what dumbledore cracked with the sword.

Like I said, don't matter much anyways. Alright, for my question...

How many students attended the very first Dumbledore's Army meeting in the Hog's Head?

Easier question, how many students are there in Harry's year?

39 isn it? She said it in one of her interviews. Wierd thing is, she says theres around 1,000 students at Hogwarts, which means that there really should be around 140 students in each year.

I'd take a guess at around 24/25...I know Fred says how many there are as he orderd Butterbeer for everyone but I cant remember th exact number.

No, it did not give a specific number. And in fact, all of them don't even appear in the series. But there's forty, she made a list, just not all of them made it into the book. 39 is close enough. So I'll call it correct.

IRT Dumbledore's Army-It was 28.

IRT 1,000 students at Hogwarts-JKR sucks at math, she's admitted it in interviews. Her numbers for the total amount of the wizarding population are way off what would be mathematically correct. So yeah, the 1,000 student thing can't be considered accurate.

Ok, my question - Name all the people who become petrified by the basilisk in #2, and how they avoided dying.

1.Mrs.Norris, Argus Filch's cat, saw the basilisk from the reflection of the water when Moaning Myrtle flooded the girl's bathroom. Petrified.
2.Colin Creevey, who is a first year in #2 book that admires Harry Potter, looked at the basilisk through his camera. Petrified.
3.Justin Finch-Fletchley, who is same year with Harry Potter, saw the basilisk through Nearly Headless Nick. Petrified.
4.Nearly Headless Nick, Gryffindor house ghost, directly saw the basilisk but can't die again since he already died and became a ghost.
5.Hermione Granger, a good friend of Harry, bumped into Penelope Clearwater and told her that she realized the monster was the basilisk. Told Penelope to look around corners with mirrors so they can't be killed. She saw the basilisk with her mirror. Petrified.
6.Penelope Clearwater, the Ravenclaw prefect, bumped into Hermione and been told that the monster was the basilisk. She saw the basilisk through the mirror too. Petrified

Sprout is herbology teacher, but this list is incomplete. You've missed 1 teacher.
