The last batch of 1 vs. 1s will be going out over the weekend. Some tight races to stay over the qualifying line. Freyme made the biggest move last week, winning the USA map and eliminating all opponents. That moved him from 4th to 2nd in the Great Lakes Region, clinching a spot into the 32-person bracket.

If you have an x-by your name, then you've clinched a spot into the next round, but remember that bracket is seeded, so you still want to finish as high in your pool as possible.

If your multi section is highlighted yellow that means all your multi maps have been played.

Sorry for the delay, I got called out of town on a work assignment (got to cover the Little League World Series this year...what a blast).

Little League World Series. Nice assignment. Did you get to work at the Tennessee/California US Finals game? That was a great game to watch with my 8 year old baseball playing son.

No...I was there to cover Gresham National (the Oregon team)...ended up 0-3 at the tourney, so I ended up coming home a few days early. Still a blast to cover, best thing I've done in my 20 years in this job.

That is a bummer that your home team did not get the result it wanted. I still enjoy watching those games as an adult. Helps to be a huge baseball fan as well has having a sone that is a huge baseball fan also.

actually, no one seemed to care much (maybe their coach), it was a cool environment...all the kids were so happy to be playing in the LLWS, the Ws and Ls were almost an after thought.

We have final standings in the Desert Southwest, Rocky Mountain and Northeast Regions.

I'll be able to seed the 32-team bracket once all pools are complete...most of getting close to finished.

I completely bombed the multi-players (probably due to everyone targeting my hat ) but hopefully the 1v1's will carry me through!

lol - you wanna see bombing the multi-players? look at mine! talk about being targeted! luckily i cleaned up on 1v1s....

I was hoping a perfect 4-for-4 finish on 1 vs. 1s would put me over the line, but I stunk it up on the multis and came in a dreaded 5th in my pool

Just about finished with the qualifying rounds...I should be able to get the bracket up by the weekend I'm guessing.

It definitely looked like you were targeted in the multis of our region. You did kick tail in the 1 v 1s. I went 1 and 3 against you.
