The way I see it is that there won´t be another World War... WWI and WWII were developed in a system in wich there was no limitants and the available weapons were not so destructive. Another world war would mean the use of nuclear bombs and I don´t think any government wants to use them beacuse it would destroy the planet´s climate and situation, and they would destroy enemy and themselves...

Yes. You will. That was the whole reason for the Cold War, and the whole reason we're here today and not all radioactive bald children with three arms. Nuclear Weapons mean mutually assured destruction. and even Bush would never go that far. If present at all, they are meant as a deterrant not as a weapon any developed and stable nation would ever consider using unless attacked first with nukes.

thats true... If you wouldn´t hesitate to drop a bomb, you would´ve drop some nuks on Russia... thats why there won´t be a WW III.

You do realize how much more powerful the nuclear weapons of today are compared to Los Alamos? There is a reason that nuclear testing is banned except for underground.

I think a nuclear weapon was needed to end WW2, or we would have lost a lot more lives on both Japan's side and and the United States side (and Britian's side too because they also were in the Pacific front). Yet after the war I wish the U.S. lost plans to make "the bomb" and Russia never got it's hands on the plans, and then we would not have to worrie about a carzed miman trying to end the world, off of a crazy idea, and a bomb to show his idea.

To keep this post up, here is a question.
If there was no WW1 or WW2 where would we be as in what weapons we would have and so on?

Ever since the first humans (or in a point of religion, Adam and Eve) there has always been a weapon to kill someone.
That has a will never change.
So it really can't be nothing even if it is a stone that is used to kill.
There has always been some one that has wanted to kill some one else, that is were weapons come in.

we will have laser guns next

Well I think people would like a way to save more lives then a better way to take more.
Yet, not every one has that in mind.
