frankly the chances of the map being made without you taking charge and making a draft (and improving after comments) are very slim.

It might be best to get photoshop or whatever and draw out a simple black and white draft of the map. People can comment on gameplay and frankly it won't be that hard to make updates when you're essentially only making gameplay type changes to the map.

once the gameplay is agreed upon, I'm sure finding an artist will not be hard.

you just have to put in the time and effort to get the map up to that level. It takes a lot of patience too.

Already working on Dante's Inferno... Waiting For XML Changes For A few things and also MAP Size Restrictions to change.. hopefully

will try once and may get hooked

Map Idea: New York City

Description: Buroughs, Statue of LIberty, Jersey, Empire State Bulding, Wallstreet, Yankee Stadium, Central Park, etc.

I think New York would be a good map with the rivers as borders.

NYC has been thought up many times, but none of them could get down to a conclusion so they all went in the furnace.

Hi Guys,

I whipped this up yesterday as an idea:



Earth Types give you +1 armies per turn
Jupiter types kill 1 army per turn
Mars types do nothing
There are no bonuses

What do you think?

make an ancient greece map with the city states like sparta, corinth, troy, athens, etc maybe even add in the persian empire or make the time during the peloponnesion war (sparta and allies vs athens and allies)

There is an Ancient Greece map And there's Alexander's empire, and I'm sure there was a Persian Empire map around here somewhere.

Not a bad first draft. But there's already a Milky Way map in production. In fact, it should be done within the next week or two. Check the Final Forge forum. It should be stickied in there.

Don't let that discourage you though! Try a different idea.

Anyone asked for a monopoly map? I think it would be good Stations, Community Chests, Property Groups and Chances could all be bonuses And more!

So I was just thinking since football season has started and all, that it would be great to somhow get it incorporated into conquer club. I mean there are plenty of different stadiums and teams in the NFL that it should be done pretty easily. You could probably divide it up into the NFC and AFC and allt he other divisions. that is just my thought.
