Transfers Galore!

Today has seen the first major haul of players flying in all directions. In one of the biggest moves of the day new 7th Legion manager ga7 has managed to buy Thierry Henry and Van Der Sar for a combined 1000 points, as well as swapping Ronaldinho for Aguero of Redcar Royals.

Another big spender was lozzini, despite being one of the poorest clubs TWAT have been the most active club. They brought in three players in Richards, Clichy and Iniesta. Manager lozz said that these purchases would help his team finish further up the table this season. Going the other way were Volz, Gilberto and Laursen who went to DDU for 200 points.

Iliad also snapped up Skrtel and Sneijder for 400 and 500 points respectively. In an interview Sneijder promised to return DDU to a title contending team. Speaking of title contenders RSC made thier first signing of the transfer window in Italian defender Matterazi. Defender Senderos was on the way out and Juan is also said to be leaving as soon as RSC can make up their minimum number of players.

RSC and NaC are also said to be in a bidding war over World Class defenders Carlos Puyol and Fabio Cannavaro. Icedagger has surprisingly only made one transfer so far in the purchase of much speculated over Pual Scholes. It is understoood they outbid TWAT in order to earn his signature, it appeared that TWAT had managed to purchase the player after an official club statement was released by Emo United claiming he had been bought by TWAT but it later emerged this was not true and that he had infact gone to Norfolk and Chacne.

Emo United brought in Fernandez to replace Scholes and German international Lahm to add to their defence. Finally Get Toanked made his two more signings when he bought Robben and Vidic to add to the Redcar Squad.

The World Class defenders bidding war is complete with Cajuns and Norfolk taking one a piece. Norfolk paid 520 points for Cannavaro where as Red Stick paid 530 for Puyol making him the most expensive buy of the transfer window so far. Going in the opposite direction was out of favour Brazzilian defender Juan who was sold to Foreign United for 150 points. Foriegn United also managed to capture Kanu from 7th Legion for 100 points.

A big few days of spending has seen many changes, now the next big moves ae expected of Thunder Hawks and Emo United, the two teams who still have cash to splash.
