I must still be in since I got a game yesterday but I can't figure out who got eliminated in ROund 1 and who's losing out in Round 2. Would it be possible to update your second post with the current teams and the winners of the games?

The Rodent Regiment successfully defended its position from a prolonged assault (16 rounds) by the Banana_Hammocks Division today. Supplies are almost exhausted. Position was almost overrun several times, but thanks to superb work by the rear-echelon supply units (three rainbow sets and a green set), we held our ground. Casualties are high and morale is low, but the troops are chomping at the bit to go on the offensive.

Despite the surprise attack giving us an early advantage the neutral tribes in Algarve Este, combined with local terrain knowledge especially around the Setubal area stopped, then turned back our invasion. Then they just kept coming at us...Every three rounds AmphibiousRodent seemed to get 10 reinforcement battalions from goodness knows where (I suspect Spain may be involved and suggest launching a strong offensive when troops are available). I realise that we could only supply 6-8 battalions due to losses at sea, but for the future we will need more.

I feel my demotion from Major to Captain due to this battle may be somewhat harsh, however hopefully next battle I will show myself to be a true leader and recapture this area and possibly my rank.

Bloodied but still fighting Captain banana_hammocks

dont worry banana, im sure endar will use you well to slaughter people in the upcoming phase of the war

Colonel Endar, sir--Lieutenant geigerm would like to report that we successfully defended our position in Actium from poptartpsycho's enemy forces. Judging by our opponent's initial reaction ("argh-really dislike this map ... FOG??"), it is clear that we established a strong defensive position, and our familiarity with the terrain allowed us to amass strong forces in the Cleopatra region and catch enemy forces unawares. My armies await our next assignment.
