Things to think about:
    Game play ideas. Seriously now.
    Not the graphics.
    Something else I can't remember.
    Oh yeah, game play. I'm not sure how it's gonna work.
    Right now, I have no idea how I'll name the territories

first off i want to say excellent idea :D

so some game play help.... hmmm let me see.... well for the pirate terits will be ships of course.... i say you make the pirate ships be able to bombard different terits...
then im not sure if its possible because it hasn't happened yet... but if you could possibly put all of the ninja terits in FOW.... that would be really neat..... and then the ninja terits should be able to attack up too 2 or 3 spaces away because of their super ninja skills... then have one terit for the ninjas.... which could be the training camp..... get an extra army.... and same for the pirate ships.... not sure what to call it though :) and since pirates and ninjas always show up in the night you should make the background and stuff darker :D... hope this helps you a little bit... cant wait to see the map

ok ink, let's make this happen, i wanna see this map. lats have maybetwo big pirate ships; one in the ocean and one in the lagoon. as lb said, they should be able to bombard, and i'd also like to see them have an autodrop of maybe +1 or 2/round. smaller rowboat type ships can spread between them and the shore, connecting land and ships. the ninjas should have one major dojo/monestary thing and maybe two smaller onces spread aound. i'd also like to see them have bombarment capabilities, representing sneak attacks, as well as possibly an autodrop as well. are far as 'countries' for bonuses go....

i think the island represents an important startegic point which warrants its classification as a country
the lagoon beach could be one, as well as the east and west ocean beaches.
the area around each dojo thing could be a 'country'
also, bonuses for holding 1 pirate ship and all it's landing craft, and a bigger bonus for holding both ships and all their landing craft.
perhaps a small bonus for holding all major pirate ships or all dojo things

finally, i kind of feel like water is significantly more dominant than land in this map, which obviously puts our ninjas at a disadvantage. though i prefer pirates myself, i think you may want to consider a little less water, a little more land. the lagoon seriously cuts into the ninjas' turf ;)



also, i'm going to go post in the Pinja clan threads and try to recruit some more interest

Yes zombies. For now at least.

Martians hovering over the lagoon, as bbq puts it. I like that word.

Not sure if I can fit two pirate ships, and probably only one ninja monastery though. But the ninjas will be able to long-distance attack like you guys are saying, and the pirates will be able to bombard the beaches. That part I'm sure of.

so rename the thread to pirates vs ninjas vs zombies vs aliens so we are confident in what you want for now... that way no one else will suggest stuff

i was just asking about the zombies cuz i wasn't sure what you had finally chosen

Name for the map. I can do better than Pirates v Ninjas.

It's staying for now, though, because the title is already just under the limit in length.

I suggest that the big lagoon in the middle should have around 2 cm cut from the bottom for more land. I also suggest that instead of countries put down provinces. Ideas:

- Give the pirates sea advantage. Let them bombard, attack villages, and board other ships.

- Give the ninja's land advantage. Set up numourous ninja camp and allow them to attack from 2 or three spaces away. Ninja's are sneaky so even if their cut off allow them to fortify between ninja camp through enemy boarders.

Thats my two cents. :D

oh ok i hadn't realized you were still putting in the martians and zombies. in that case, yes, i think each 'faction
should have only one 'headquarters' ; 1 monestary, 1 big pirate ship, 1 alien mothership, and 1... abysmal gate to hell through which zombies pour?

I think you should make the border of the beach between the grass and the ocean less uniform. It looks really predictable if you make it the same length throughout. Try making some parts wider and some parts less wide. I don't know if that makes any sense. Anyway, I already told you what I thought about it last night.

I actually like the skull idea but don't make it on the middle island. Put in the more islands as eyes in the water...but idk how that will look like. :?

Even so should such tegnology as ufo fitt in this map??It dont give any sense and they really do not look good atm:/ but he can add small boats instead much better:D
