I do not accept your half-assed, lame, and insincere apology.

The dying cultures of bacteria and vile gases in your body that you mention, as well as whatever various diseases you may have contracted, are not excuses for the horrible ways that you have treated paying members here, AND CONTINUE TO TREAT PAYING MEMBERS HERE.

Your struggles with bacteria, vile bodily gases, and diseases are called INSTANT KARMA, meaning reactions to your own deplorable activities, and are not excuses for your ongoing pattern of horrible personal behavior. A real apology would necessarily entail A CHANGE IN ATTITUDE AND BEHAVIOR, which this false one does not include.

In short, you are not only a cheater, a gross abuser of authority, and an internet stalker, but you are also a liar.

There is no excuse for your immature behavior, harassment of paying members, gross abuse of authority, and blatant cheating.

I will only consider accepting your lame apology after your sorry ass is booted from the site permanently.

Good riddance to bad trash.

hehe, you have a beautiful soul

You know in the good old days (remember when we had a real Mod here on the forums, it seems like only last week) people who would jump on every single thread with the same moronic flaming spam would be wached hard on the bottom with a forum ban.

Alas those days are gone and the current Keystone Cops are too busy putting (was here) signs all over the place to do any real moderation ... that is if they are ever seen at all.

Oh what a load of old tosh. It amazes me that you can even write something that is so flagrantly untrue.

I'll tell you what Salmon, for all your whinging about what this event has (in your eyes) allowed Owen to do, it seems that you yourself have delighted in bringing out your usual sanctimonious brand of senseless GeeIwishIwasamoderator whinging into the sunlight. How about getting off of Owen's back (who has in no way cavorted in the misfortunes of another), leaving the chastisement of others to moderators, and stopping with the bizarre preaching about imagined faults of others.

The last thing we need is another Flame War here, so wind your neck in and deal with your own communicative shortcomings before haranguing others for theirs.

nope, there is no joy in mudville tonight... for the great soloman, has struck out... get over it. she had an opportunity to go away, get better, remain a part of the community and possibly return to being a mod... did she do it? nope, she waited until mom and dad were out of town, threw gas in the basement, and lit a match, then stood back and watched the flames as they tried to engulf the glorious palace that is CC. i wish she had seen what she was offered as an opportunity to continue her recovery and to come back with a bang. instead, she went out clawing at the walls, calling the boss a liar, kicking over furniture, grabbing a plant, and hitting the cold concrete outside CC Towers... in your mind soloman, she stood up in the middle of it all and declared she was leaving, and asked who was going with her... you picked up your fish, after an akward pause, and declared with tears in your eyes, "i will go with you!'... maybe you are still hoping for the "you complete me" scene, but i doubt it's happened yet..-0

well its true Owen and his posse do seem to having a whail of a time. Which i find a shame coz I think people are trying to read too much into , things they know nothing about. What I will say is that the people flaming in the twill camp arent getting fuking warnings. And coz i flamed frop the donk, i got a warning. Double standards one thinks, but only well what can you do!?!? I just pray to myyyy lovely Mary statue every night for better dice and for the day that fukin cumstain flobber gets a permanent ban :D

wicked wrote:Dear Team,

As some of you know, I was diagnosed with Lyme Disease
recently and have just finished the initial treatment for that, which included 5 weeks of
antibiotics. Having the disease was hell, as was the treatment, as the
bacteria dying off create a toxic gas in the body, wreaking havoc everywhere.

Lyme’s is a disease that passes the blood-brain barrier and causes neurological symptoms, among
other things, if left untreated. My ordeal started last year, although we’re not sure where or
when I was bit by the nasty tick since I never got the telltale rash. If I had gotten the
bullseye rash, I would’ve been treated immediately for Lyme’s and this whole ordeal would’ve
never happened. But as it was, I just woke up one morning in October 2007 and felt extremely
sick with severe abdominal pain. Since it was the day before I was scheduled to fly to
Nationals, I went to the docs right away and was diagnosed with a bladder infection and ovarian
cyst. This would be the beginning of a long and arduous journey filled with misdiagnoses and
being shuffled between clueless guessing doctors. I had many procedures and even surgery as
they tried to diagnose me. I was put first on vicodin, then on morphine so I could better cope
with the extreme debilitating pain. The morphine helped me get back into doing the daily
things I needed to get by. Previous to that, I was housebound with the pain. I mistakenly
thought I was getting better, even though we still had no diagnosis, because the morphine was
masking the pain.

This went on 7 months. For someone who's normally very physically active, this took it's toll in more ways
than one. During this time, the Lyme’s and the narcotics affected my brain. I was in a
constant fog, had no short term memory (I’d take a pill and then 10 seconds later forget, which
was problematic when on narcotics, to say the least), couldn’t concentrate, had to think hard
at how to do everyday tasks. I would be standing in front of the kitchen sink with an empty
dog water bowl in my hand staring at the faucet, and not know what to do or how to do it. I
took a lot of time off from work, since I was constantly in the hospital or in a doctor’s
office, and also worked from home, meaning I spent a lot of time on CC. Even in my altered
state, I still didn’t realize I shouldn’t have been trying to make mod decisions or interact
with others. In fact, I didn’t realize until this week, my first morphine-free week in ages,
that it was affecting my behavior in a negative manner. In reading back over my posts, I was
babbling and incoherent at times; I'd write a sentence and then not understand what I wrote
(thankfully I hit delete a lot). I couldn’t always read through a thread to follow it and comprehend
what was being discussed (so I'd just leave it for another mod to handle).
In hindsight, I should have taken a leave of absence from CC modding
duties, but being housebound, there wasn’t much else to do in between napsand my friends on
here gave me support to perservere through this mess. Plus I didn’t have the mental awareness
to make that decision for myself.

I was sent to an infectious disease specialist at the end of May 2008, the latest in a long
list of specialists I had seen. He tested me for everything under the sun and that’s when we
finally got a diagnosis and began the treatment. He was shocked, as we all were. Lyme’s is
pretty rare up here in the Seattle area.

Anyway, I wanted to share a little bit of what I was going through and explain my behavior over
the last 8-9 months or so. I also wanted to apologize for anything and everything I did during
that time. All I can say is I wasn’t myself and it won't happen again. I am ok now though,
and realize I hurt people and created tension that didn’t need to be here. I’m sorry to say I
don’t remember most of it. My sincere apologies to all. I hope I didn’t burn any bridges and
hope you can forgive me and give me another chance to make it right. I’m here as part of the
team to make CC better and will do my best to work with you all.

no prob all that matters is that ur ok

No, I'm not talking about the people who are "for" the revolution or the people who are "against" the revolution. I'm talking about the game vultures who came down hard on the General forum for nother other than necromantic beastiality. The one I was specifically thinking of was KLOBBER.

He managed to spam his flame of wicked on every thread in General, even those threads that weren't even about her. Flaming ourside of flame wars and spamming should be grounds for a forum ban back in the good old days. But apparently it's all well and good if it against Wicked.

Oh, come on, princess -- I'm just having a little well-earned fun, basking in the warm, golden afterglow of the defeat of the Wicked Witch!

Also, I'm neither for nor against any so-called "revolution," because there isn't one.

I think the phrase you were looking for was "victory celebration." Now, more champagne!

hehe yeah Klobbs is having a little fun as a one-man bush-fire.. but let's be honest, he's is not exactly allowing the issue to die down. I am fairly sure that he is not the Public relations guru Twill would have chosen... Given the choice I'd rather poke OJ Simpsons ex-wife, indicate the whereabouts of my cutlery draw and then ask him for pointers on coital technique.
Klobber is almost single-handedly keeping this smoldering when i am sure the site would rather it simply fizzled out.

*rolling my eyes*... and posting lack's phone number and twill's personal info weren't grounds for a forum ban either... soooo, which is worse? klobber posting his feelings on a topic, and pretty much being as ON TOPIC in the thread as any of those not sharing his view OR the "revolutionaries" acting on behalf of their goddess breaking every rule in the forum handbook? funny, it has been 3 days, and already CC historians are neglecting to remember all the ill will and hatred and filth spewn about the entire forum by those fighting for a mod to keep their job, despite the mod declaring she didn't want the job.-0
