I don't know hulmey...I like the current colour scheme and the majority of people who voted in the poll liked it as well but perhaps those who don't like the current scheme are more vocal.
I think the results of the vote might have been different if there had been 2 different versions to actually see and evaluate before voting, without having to imagine what it might look like.

Agreed. I'll give some colour options in the coming days. Mid June probably.

the one that kap did - i think thats quite good because my 1st impression was 'too hot to touch', because it looked a little metalicy and very hot.
of course it alll depends on what aspects of cyprus you'er trying to portray, good luck :)

Cyprus is hot but not that hot. :) Africa perhaps reaches that level of hotness - places like the Sahara Desert. I think many people have a stereotypical view of Cyprus, it's much more than warm weather.

youre right - sahara desert is hot! trust me ive been there.

so maybe some soft oragnes and some yellows, i just don't think that blue is the right colour. and kap's version's colours do look quite the same to me aswel lol

other than the colours it looks good

Agreed, it doesn't just need to be rocky, but I think that the map needs warm colors, not cool colors. You want to put people in the spirit of the map, and warm... you wouldn't use warm colors to make people think of Alaska, even though it is absolutely lovely in the summer time.

Tans and greens?

Cyprus can be associated with many colours. As ive already posted you have snow, warmth and also military! whioch one is correcta nd which one should ruben portray in his map.

Judging by what ruben has writen he is moving towards military, whos colour scheme is perfectly portrayed here in this map.

I was busy having a pedicure *and* a manicure Jamie. :)

I will have to focus on San Marino to give it the last push and get it quenched before focusing on this one again. Anyway there's no rush right now since quenched maps aren't going live yet.

Nice map. You know the star bonuses, I suggest you change the star colors for the turkey bonus, otherwise it's confusing from the other star bonus

Why don't you divide Nicosia into 2 parts? Turkish Nicosia and Greek one? And you can add a special bonus ( +1) for holding them at once?

Hmm...next time notify me first because it's not a dead project. I just haven't had time to work on it lately.

When I do have time to work on this will it move again automatically to the foundry or do I have to start from drafts again cause that would suck?
