I was thinking that maybe the easiest thing for you to do as far as standings go would be to just have a list of everyone in the tourney and their points. As people report and games are finished you would simply add the points to the player’s total. Kind of like what Optimus has going for the Allspark League. Then you wouldn't have to list the games and who won them and such, just the players and their points. Of course I'm not a tourney organizer so I may not know what I'm talking about.....

It would certainly be easier, the only problem with that is possible mistakes, if i somehow miscount something or forget a game id have to go back through every game you played through to find the correct score... it would work i think for a smaller thing but a year long tournament would make it hard ya know?

Well If you did it that way the players would have to keep an eye on their own points as well. So if a mistake was made they will let you know and would probably know for which game the mistake was made. Players who are seriouse will keep track of their own scores to a point anyway so it would probably work.

*nods* true enough... alright, i think im going to just condence it slightly... go half way, ill bring up the points per week, not per game, ill still need somewhat of a chart for this but not as much as every game, what was it... 52 weeks or 54? thats alot better then 400-something games worth XD

good job natewolfman on organising all this!
also like the fact that you distribute games taking player ranks into account, makes the games in this tournament a lot more interesting in my opinion

as for an update for finished games in my week 1 games:

http://www.conquerclub.com/game.php?game=1942754
quads freestyle flat chained FOW
hiddendragon, igotaished, caspertk and dimnjacarstef
beat
jekson, fag_ash, joee661913, negoeien

http://www.conquerclub.com/game.php?game=1942658
8player freestyle esc unlimited FOW
caspertk wins, ranking of the players (thus #8 eliminated first)
1. caspertk
2. hiddendragon
3. dimnjacarstef
4. negoeien
5. fag_ash
6. joe661913
7. igotaished
8. jekson

Just to clarify we will most likely be playing the same people for the first month till the ranks are updated right.

I will likelly find time to update ranks at least once a week... but at the very latest once every 2 weeks, so it should slowly shift around pretty regularly
