Hi folks, sorry bout that.

I'm not abandoning this, I've just been hectic with a few other things, and I'm really not very good at keeping track of forums of tourneys once I'm running them (or playing in them) :P It's something I need to work on, I know.

I'll put current scores up later this afternoon, and yeah, sorry for no updates. Trumpet and others in that round 3 game, I'm just trying to find a replacement sub, since bla-cro's vanished somewhere...

Cheers for bearing with me, and I'll work on improving my activity in the ongoing forum.

Nicely done...

On a small side note folks... I've just started back at work now the holidays are over, so it might be a week or two until I'm settled enough to get the next round going...

I'm definately not abandoning this tourney, but I've just been snowed under with a bucketload of work...

That said, now that I've said that I'll probably pull an all nighter and get the next round set up tonight <he says as he's about to head out> or maybe tomorrow <but no, I'm at a festival> and maybe monday..... nope.. works back..

Look, I'm not sure 100% how long it will be. Definately within the next fortnight at the longest, but I hope you'll bear with me :D

If you're freemium, feel free to use your space to go and have fun, I'll let you know when we need you

Ta. and Happy conquering

Well Tieryn it has been a fortnight, any updates?

As for me, I think I asked this question before with no response, when winning a match that players deadbeated out of, does the winner of the match get the points for their elimination? I think they should personally because those points shouldn't just be lost due to the player deadbeat'ing.

Like I just won my home concert for Sonata Arctica game #1466238

I eliminated razormonster.
razormonster eliminated paradicecity9

but BOTH bla-cro AND mpxy deadbeated out of the match.

I know I have a solidified 5 points; however, I don't think that their 4 points of elimination should just be written off. Those are players I could have eliminated.

Sorry dude :P I don't browse the ongoings so only check these when I remember to :P

Yes, I've decided, deadbeat points will go to the winner. There's no point you being unfairly disadvantaged (and hence possibly knocked out) because of a deadbeat.

Being 4 rounds in, I can see the scoring for this tourney wasn't my best idea ever.. but we'll stick with it... When the inevitable ties come up (hopefully not in every division), there will be tiebreakers between the tied players (2/3/4/5/or whatever) on classic. I think I mentioned this in the first post anyway... If not, I could edit it and then pretend I did, or just declare it here :P

So yes, you'll be on 11. Unfortunately some logs have been lost, so all scores are not going to be as perfect as they could be :( Tho I will need to check this after the logs have been restored (which is in the works). So hopefully it won't be too bad. When the logs were lost was in a time that we were slow on games. We've still got some round 2 games going, so that's why I've been slow in starting new rounds. But I'll start round 5 (the final round) soon. Probably this week sometime. Maybe later tonight if I get time.

Cheers for your patience :)

Yeah, sorry for the slow updates but many last round games are still ongoing.

I'm going to start the new round this weekend hopefully, but I'm also going away hiking for 10 days and won't be back until the 22nd.

Sorry for the slowness, I'm still around and this is running, but games are progressing v.slowly.
