I may have exaggerated a bit. I don't know exactly how legally enforceable it is, but in practice, the council only take unrecyclable rubbish once a fortnight. So, effectively, you need to do the sorting, or it will pile up.
(The stuff you recycle needs to be washed, and I'm not averse to doing it, to be honest. Well, no, I'm averse to washing dishes in general, but I don't object to washing Coke cans to any greater degree than I object to washing plates.)

On your clipboard.
Open Paint or another image editing program, press ctrl + v to paste it, and save it as a jpg or png.
