Okay, this is our first problem, a 1st round, 2nd chance game that never got started. I know that banana zero has vanished from CC, so I'll see if the others are still interested.

My apologies, but most people should disregard the PM that I sent yesterday. I thought all remaining players that hadn't qualified would be playing a third chance game, but upon re-reading the rules properly I see this is not the case. Only a few of you will be playing another round 1 game.

Since I guess we've accepted that DJENRE isn't coming back and this is my tourney now, I've plugged it into my ongoing list:
Okay, the moment we've all been waiting for -- the LOTTERY!
Here's how it will work (and refer back to page 1 if you don't believe me): In a couple minutes I will take the list of remaining players below and copy it into random.org's list randomizer. I will randomize it, and copy it back in here. The TOP FIVE players on the randomized list will go to the final game (the lottery game) in the preliminary round. The winner of that game will go on to the next phase, and will also be the winner of the GA medal for "Lottery Survivor."
If any of the five names that I've drawn do not accept their first or second invite, then I will take the sixth person on the list, and then the seventh, etc., until the lottery game begins.
After the lottery game has begun, I will also take some more names from the top of the list (starting with the sixth name or the seventh, or wherever we left off for the lottery game) and I will invite them to three or four additional games. These additional games will NOT guarantee you admission into the semi-finals, they are just to gather a list of reserves if anyone in the semi-finals doesn't show up or is disqualified. Okay, I'm off to random.org, back in a minute.

That one, and the other two "Round 2 replacement" games, are to establish an order of precedence for to replace any round 2 player that doesn't accept his invites. By winning that game, you are first in line to replace any Round 2 player who doesn't accept his invites. BluU is second in line, and the winner of 9340588 will be third.
Because the tournament was inactive for a long time, I expected quite a few dropouts. So far I've been pleasantly surprised, and most of the Round 2 players have accepted their invites, but there are a few that haven't. We'll see what happens.
