*returns from the grave.* Unless we get something more solid to go on I'm against L-1. If it gets close to deadline, say within 24 hours and we haven't heard from him maybe put a bit more pressure on him than but I don't want to risk some random person coming in and hammering before we can divulge as much information as possible out of this.

Agreed. Deadline set for this friday night. Start posting.
Is the result of a passed deadline a no lynch, or a lynch?
If it hits deadline then I will lynch whoever has the most votes. No lynches are boring.

No lynch brings me to be suspicious about you. I'd rather pressure a claim than not. I'll
unvote for now to allow time for a counterclaim.
FOS aage for voting no lynch day 1.

Storm was getting tired of the long day of searching. The X-men had scoured the grounds of the X-mansion and found nothing unusual that could lead to the discovery of the hidden enemy. Suddenly, she had an idea. "What if they aren't hiding in the school at all? There are many wooded areas surrounding the mansion where they could have fled," she thought. Storm summoned all the powers at her disposal and created a massive hurricane over the mansion and its grounds. "I would like to see them survive that!" Within a few hours the power went out at the mansion and the X-men were forced to retire for the night.
Storm has ended the day!
Night 1 Begins! Send in your actions now. You have 72 hours.

Iceman patrolled the grounds late that night. With the lights out, he relied on his abilities to detect heat signatures among the dark shadows of the mansion. He sensed the body of a large child hidden in a corner up ahead. "Probably a lost student," he thought. He approached the child and asked what was wrong.
"Please help me, sir. I am afraid of the dark and I can't find my way back to my room," the child replied.
"Don't worry, just follow me."
However, as soon as he turned, four sharp shards of metal were sent speeding toward his back. Iceman attempted to bring his power to bear, but it was too late. The metal struck him deep and Iceman collapsed to the ground. The disguised Magneto stood over the helpless hero and let out a faint chuckle before disappearing into the shadows of the mansion.
Safariguy -
Iceman (town jailer) has been killed!

I just read. This is what I got from my reading: YOU'RE ALL A BUNCH OF NOOBZELS!!! >:U STOP NO LUNCHING OR ELSE IT'S GOING TO BE DAY 1 FOREVER AND DO YOU KNOW HOW ANNOYING THAT IS!?!??! I'M TRYING TO ACTUALLY PLAY MAFIA HERE NOT JUST POST RUDE COMMENTS ABOUT WHAT I DID TO YOUR MOTHERS!
....
*Rapes all your mothers*
Anyway... There really wasn't much that went on in Day 1. I'm pleasantly surprised to see Serbia here. He needs to play in one of my games. (As well as other players I should force out of retirement.) Since Naxus had a day to use his role I think that it's possible that we can check out if his claim is false or nawt. Thusly I would like to see the result of that. Obviously if it turned out sour he's gonna have to have some explaining to do. Outside of that I'm not really sure what to do. I think I may have to do another re-read of this thread. That or you can all post right now and I can try to get something from it.

I find it a bit interesting that these 5 posts came all right after each other.
safariguy5 wrote:No lynch is not the answer, I'd rather pressure a roleclaim from someone before deciding on whether to no lynch or not. We need some information from day 1.
unvote vote naxus
Well we know that Saf is town but usually the 3rd vote is pretty scummy...
lalaland wrote:I agree with safari.
Lets pressure a bit, see what we get, and i'm assuming if we hit deadline we're getting a no lynch anyhow, so what do we have to lose?
also unvote vote naxus... nothing personal on this, just trying to get some info
Vote 4, The material in it isn't very original and seems to add nothing while putting someone closer to a lynch. From what I read in the game lalaland seemed kinda weird and this post does nawt help.
FOS: Lalaland
ga7 wrote:I'm also in favor of putting pressure on someone before deadline, so here goes:
Unvote Vote NaxusThat's the 5th vote by my count, are you ready to talk now, punk?!

I don't know many of the new faces so I don't know if Naxus is experienced but either way no lynch vote might be as good a slip up as we get for now...
As Frenchie-chan says it's the 5th post. PErsonally as I've seen the French scum play many games before I know that for us old school players the idea of trying to actually LYNCH SOMEONE (in the game of mafia I never would have thunk it) is actually IMPORTANT. Considering how I've been some of the games go around here lately I don't really blame him if he's jumping on a bandwagon because it'll need to a lynch. Then my game happened

colton24 wrote:How about we up the ante? Vote Naxus
That be L-2. You wanna talk little man?
This vote like Lalaland's looks more like fluff and bandwagoning me. I'm gonna keep an eye on Colton but he's kinda hard to tract as he's a bit like NES (but nawt that bad x3)
aage wrote:unvote vote no lynch
Let's see where that brings us.
Going against the norm of what's above him. Even though no lunches SUCK it paints a pro-town picture of him to me.

It just seemed kinda foolish to pick a random person and vote for him just for the heck of it. Rather have a no lynch than kill someone / force someone to claim which mostly results in death during night. I chose to vote no lynch because you did so too, and it resulted in the bunch of ppl jumping you like madmen. Wanted to check whether they would do the same to me. Apparently not. This is strange imo, but I cant call them all a bunch of scum since there simply isn't that much scum.

Two things:
Did anybody get any useful info that we can actually use?
and
(this is just cuz i'm stupid and don't know) what would the role "town jailer" have entailed?

Wow, from time to time Chu does useful analysis.

What bugs me the most is that most votes etc have barely any reasoning of their own. I'm not saying it's every post, and I know it was day 1, but it considerably reduces content to have "vote blabla, yeah what he said" in half the posts. It also makes freaking everyone appear scummy.

Then why didn't you post that when you voted no lynch? We must have done it a hundred times already, but we would have at least argued no lynch so I could have an idea if you were scum or mislead town. Frankly if I was a vig I would have been tempted to have a shot at you this night purely because your statement seemed so random and could have easily been interpreted as "Let's divert attention from the wagon on Naxus". See, if you're town it's always better to expose your reasoning than just say "Let's see where that brings us". As for no lynch, town's only real power is to lynch. You can't expect power roles to win a game, that's not what mafia is about and frankly it'd be freaking boring if that was the case. So especially on day 1 where there's almost no info, you have to attack the most minute thing because it could be a slipup. Wanting no lynch means you almost systematically start from scratch on day 2, which is hell counterproductive and only helps scum. It doesn't matter much if a townie gets lynched (provided he wasn't freaking important) as long as he was scummy and you can try to find scum on his wagon afterwards, for instance. No lynch is really rarely justified.
Anyway I'm done ranting and shaking my cane, so I also wonder about the town jailer, sounds like roleblock & protect but dunno if Mr S uses it that way. Naxus role, in all logic, should be proven (at least the power).

I'll make three remarks about this.
If you think I voted no lynch to divert attention from Naxus' BW, you're right! I just believed it to be rather obvious that when I would vote whatever you people made all the fuss about, I would disagree with your way of playing day 1. So there was no point in voting off naxus, and there was no point in voting off anyone else. You guys are just too eager for blood imo.
It also should be noted that you are sort of accusing me here, while in the top of your post you mention people saying "vote blabla, yeah what he said", which is exactly what you guys have been doing. So who are you blaming here, and who are you accusing?
Secondly, I don't think we have scratch now. Yes, a towny died, but the town power roles might have gotten information tonight. I haven't, since my role isn't investigative, but others might.
Lastly, we are all X-men. I don't think there's anyone who has not got any power whatsoever. This increases the chance someone's got something.
