Clan recruitment policies ??

There is a Clan that has chosen to induct people without any fore warning. Many people have now found themselves part of a clan that they never applied for .
What is the policy regarding this type of membership building?

People check your user groups, YOU may have been drafted without your knowledge ! ! :shock:

If a clan invites you, you'll receive an e-mail, so look out for those.

Yeah, forced recruitment is a no-no.

If you find yourself with a new usergroup forum you will know you have been added...let Andy or myself know if this happens to you and we will have words with some people

I joined this group under the impression it was a social group not a fighting clan.
I have since found out different and have asked to be removed from the Canadian Clasher membership roster.

Apparently someone in that group has gone through the rankings and drafted Canadian players above a certain rank(not sure which one), without permission.
So the membership in that clan mostly consists of unrequested inductions.
Kind of funny, very reminiscent of Europe about 50-60 years ago

I am sure this is not proper drafting procedure for Clans in Conquer Club.

I noticed two days ago when I went to go to my XI Games forum, that Canadian Clashers was also listed there.......so....I went in, had a wee chat with them via their forum.....explained things about showing a little class, legal recruiting, and how quickly I expected to be taken off their rosters....next time I checked it was gone from hidden forums. I received no apology, so I pm'd a member, and we chatted. Problem solved. Aparently that won't be happening again. I hope not anyway. I think it was just a case of a little misguided enthusiasm..........heheheh....I may have shown a little of that myself in the past..... :shock:
