MM10, i'll take a '2 week leave of absence from CC' that the patriots will EITHER go undefeated in the regular season OR win the superbowl, at 2:1 odds in the patriots favor(you'd be gone for a month, that means)

Take it or leave it, but the pittsburgh steelers are the only slight possibility that the patriots will lose(barring a loss in the final week). And the steelers are, sorry, kind of a joke.

so there you go, MM10, take it or leave it.

I'm a die hard Steelers fan. Yeah the Pats have a good team and it will be tough but I think the steelers have the raw grit and determination to beat them. Tomlin is doing a good job coaching and Ben is MUCH better than last season, I'm glad to see Ben is running more again. All in all yeah Steelers will win.

you know who has the best record? the fans, they are undefeated

if your team is winning and the like you will say "we are winning" but if the team is losing you will say "they lost" and thus, the fans have never lost so they are undefeated and shall win the super bowl

I don't know about you but I use we in a losing sense a lot. I've been saying "we really need to pull our shit together" lately.

I know how frustrating it can be to be called a bandwagon fan. Especially when you are not, but if you really aren't you can know it in your mind and that's all that really matters, but MM10 really doesn't. The 49ers haven't been good since he was like 4.

Pittsburgh Steelers' current statistics:

Record: 6-2
Total Defense: #1 in NFL
Passing Defense: #1
Rushing Defense: #4
Total Offense: #8
Passing Offense: #19
Rushing Offense: #2
Time of Possession: #1
Total Sacks: #2
Forced Fumbles: #3

Yeah, you know what you're talking about.

they lost to the hapless DENVER BRONCOS in week 7. i don't give me this bullshit 'oh it was only three points!' stupid excuse. Furthermore don't be like 'Oh man look at all of our statistics, aren't we perfect?' when you don't have the record to back them up.( they also lost to arizona...)
That is why they are a joke.
Don't get me wrong, the steelers will easily be champs of the AFC north, and will easily get a play off birth, but don't give me shit statistics when they don't have the record to back them up. The patriots have equivalently amazing statistics, but they also have the record to back it up.

Week 14, in any case, will be a great game.

I never claimed the Steelers were perfect, no team is.
Sure, they have 2 losses. 2 losses does not make a team a joke.
It is the NFL, any team can beat any team on any given Sunday.
Arizona really didn't surprise me too much as Ken Whisenhunt & Russ Grimm both came from the Steelers organization and know the team well.
Both the Denver & Arizona games were close.
Shit statistics?
Having the #1 defense in the NFL is a meaningless stat?
So I guess that means Tom Brady's stats don't mean anything either...
The Putriots barely beat an Indy team that was missing KEY players to injury. Yeah, they won, but no team is unbeatable.

Pitt @ N.E. hopefully will be a great game. It'll be very tough for the Steelers, no doubt.

So if records mean everything, then here's a record for you:
Superbowl Record:
Pittsburgh Steelers: 5-1
New England Putriots: 3-2
