when was the 4 game limit for freemiums removed ?

the only reason i paid was to be able to play in more than 4 games at once because turns took so long to come around.

it hasnt been removed. If a freemium is in more than 4 games then there premium must have just expired

And they can't join any more games until they have less than 4 going.
