User CP-Suscribed Threads{Forum Suggestion}

<Subject>:
Suscribed Threads

<Body>:

Suggestion Idea: You can suscribe to threads so that you don't have to search a forum for tournies, suggestions, flames, or anything else that you want to keep track of.

Specifics: Instead of searching through a forum for that one link you need, you could just go to your suscribed thread section. Then, you can post back for tournies, suggestions, or any other topic that you wanted to keep track of.

Why it is needed: People in tournies, usually the organizer, can easily miss their topic amiss all the others, escpecially if it hasn't been posted in for a while. So instead of searching for it, they could click a handy button to suscribe it, and then when they need to go back to it, it's just a click away. This example could be used for any suggestions made, questions asked, flames made, and the list goes on.

P.S: I have a site that I can give an example for, but I don't want to post it in case advertising isn't allowed.

There is a link that you can click... "Watch this topic for replies" in the lower left hand corner.

Well there is a Watch this thread for replies button beneath the new topic button at the bottom left of the forums, but i think that sends an email, not entirely sure cause ive never used it. Good idea though.

Doesn't that just send e-mails though?

I think to make it do anything else, we'd have to look into changing the forum software, which isn't something we'd like to do. I'd go look and see if phpBB 3.0 forum software has the feature you are suggesting, as we are looking to upgrade to that.

Until then, perhaps bookmark. :)
