The last post left out Thompson. So, again, who do you think will win the Iowa Caucus (who do you think, not want).

Huckabee. His popularity is annoyingly high there, not to mention the influence the church has here.

I think it is between Huckabee and Romney. I don't think Guiliani is going to stick around in the hunt much longer. It's a tight race in my mind, I'll be interested to see who comes out ahead.

It is hopeful. The Iowa Caucus isn't tremendously predictable and Paul could get 3rd place, which given this campaign is realistically only a dry run for him, could really benefit him by getting his name mentionned a little and giving american politics alittle of his influence.

Yeah but keep in mind that third place won't be nearly good enough to win the primaries.

Huckabee will win the loopy, Christian, right-wing dominated Iowa Caucus.

Romney will win the arrogant, stuck-up atheist, godless pagan New Hampshire primary.

You may have heard that there's this other political party called the Democrats which also has candidates running. It shows a lot that you didn't include them in another thread.

Well actually that is very true, I considered them but I know so little about the Democrats and actually, yes, Iam not that interested by the Democrat nomination. I find internal GOP politics so much more fascinating.

No...the surprising diversity you find. Most europeans just say "duh right wing americans r stoopidh n r all the wacist south sheeple who leik want Bush", and don't bother to investigate the fascinating world of US politics within the Republican Party. The way the neo-Cons and the Libertarians can seem so similarand yet are so conflicting, the way that the US still has that flame of freedom just barely lit in the hearts of some, it inspires me. really  And its always amongst those small candidates I find it.

I really really wanted to vote Romney for the win, but I honestly don't think he'll win Iowa, I think Huckabee will. Which isn't something I want to see, but I think he's surging. When the primaries come to Michigan I'll be voting either Guiliani or Romney, not sure who yet. Anyway, I think Huckabee wins Iowa, and that's how I voted. (just please don't nominate him people!)

And as to those of you voting Paul, I think you're voting based on hope, and not reality... do you HONESTLY believe he's going to win?

Giuliani and Romney are slimeballs. Giuliani's policies are just wrong, and Romney's flip flopped three times on the abortion issue. Don't waste a vote on them, Serbia, they're just more run-of-the-mill-out-of-the-machine politicians.

I dunno, all of the republicans are bad. I would hate to see McCain in office, and the rest simply would make awful decisions.

Remember, you're the guy voting for Paul. Sorry, but I'm not quite sure I'm going to take your advice. No offense though.

(wait, are you old enough to vote yet?)

For sure, I'd hate to see McCain in office too. He seems honest enough, but he's just crazy. Bomb-bomb-bomb, bomb-bomb Iran? It's frightening.

As for Paul's chances, I'm not just hoping, I'm working to make it a reality. Me and thousands of others. So far I've talked four adults into voting for him. So even though I won't be old enough to vote in the primaries, at least I'll be able to feel that I've tried ;)

Yeah I get what you're saying Ambrose. If electing a president was the same as applying for college, Ron would be the school that isn't great academically but awesome anyways but not a lot of people get in. Obama would be my likely top pick. Romney would be Bunker Hill Community College. The Socialist workers party would be Harvard Medical School.

It would have been nice if you would have included another thread with the Democrats. Personally, I plan on voting for Bill Richardson. What's frustrating for me is it seems like our primary is going to be a popularity contest. While Clinton is out there flip-flopping on driver's licenses and Obama is dancing on the Ellen DeGeneres show, other candidates are not even being taken seriously.

As far as the Republicans go, it looks like Huckabee will do well in Iowa. It would be expected that Romney would do well up in the northeastern U.S. states like New Hampshire.

Paul is running second on this CC poll and Giulianni hasn't gotten even one friggin' vote! How incredibly awesome!

And I am assuming that all the People that voted for Ron Paul in this poll are also avid Ron Paul supporters who will actually vote for Ron Paul...I believe Ron Paul will beat Mike Huckabee, despite the media censorship of Ron Paul's name! Ron Paul kicks all these guys' asses in debate!

Go, Ron Paul! Go!
