Is this worthy of a negative feed?

I just got a negative feed because some guy lost and thinks three of us have as secret alliance. They happen to be freinds of mine from a while ago, but we don't make alliances with eachother, you can check out all the games we played together.

We use our first names from time to time but that isn't a secret alliance. I think this neg is total BS.

Negative i was eliminated from a game a week ago and i looked back at the log, he was on first name terms with the 2 other players, could this be a secret alliance? i certainly have my doubts about these players. check the log if you need to. in conclusion don't play a game when jerseyFats, DaGip and the plague are playing together, they may have a secret alliance
DaGip's response: There is no secret alliance. You got eliminated because that's how the dice went down. This neg is a total crock and shouldn't even exist. You should take a look into other games that we have played together, we don't make secret alliances! You only played with us the one time, how can you make that judgement. why don't the three of you play on the same team, and avoid this? i play doubles and triples with my friends to avoid accusations. if i were in a 4 player game where 3 people were on a first name basis, and i was eliminated first, i might feel i was wronged. now, leaving a negative is an entirely different thing, which i rarely do. however, if he wants to, he can.-0

p.s.-and it is REALLY odd that all 3 of you have lasted to the final 3 in a 6 player game or whatever it is you are playing... i think i'd really consider leaving you guys negs too.

p.p.s.-even odder, you all seem to be in the same games!!

i left feedback for the game i played, i don't read other peoples feedback because i don't know them, feedback is a personnal opinion and i expressed that. in my feedback i expressed that i didn't like the game because you were a little too friendly with other players, it was clear you knew each other from RL and i wouldn't have minded but your not allowed SECRET pacts. my feedback stands and i won't remove it for any of the 3 players because thats what feedbacks for.

i wouldn't leave feedback because i was eliminated and i never would do, i just don't like playing a game that is a 'done deal'

ps. don't you think its a bit babyish to be slinging mud at me in the game chat?

Rule #2: No secret alliances
Any form of collusion between opponents must be announced beforehand in the game chat, in English or in a language all players understand. Secret alliances can be hard to prove, but if you suspect one you should leave the players in question negative feedback. If the players have a history of suspected secret alliances consider reporting it following the instructions at the top of the Cheating & Abuse Reports forum.

out of curiosity i looked at dagip's games and i see 3 other players that are constantly there be it teams or singles.
* the convicted ( 5-0 )
* theplague ( 66-1 )
* JerseyFats ( 22-2 )

i'm not saying you have an alliance (that's not my decision to make) but i would get suspicious and i would definitelly check game logs if i felt a secret alliance.

anyway i loved this part from the chat:

Anyway, I understand the concern, but if we had a secret alliance, why would Jersey take out the convicted? And when we first started playing together, the plague was at sergeant first class or better...and I have remained at either Sergeant or Corpral First Class?

If we have a secret alliance, it must really suck, because if you look at our games, our winning percentage is not all that impresive.

I am playing Risk, having fun. None of us were forming any type of secret alliance. If that were the case, my rank would be much higher than what it is, and the plagues would definitely be higher than Corpral First Class.

If we are cheating, then send it to Cheating and Abuse.

i didn't say you were cheating, i only said i'd be suspicious and that i'd check your games (which i did and found no evidence) i just said i'd check your games to make sure you're clean.

BUT i'd ban you for even thinking lack buys a porsche with premium money (he would never go lower than Ferrari) :lol:

It is true, we are freinds, I am not going to hide that fact. The Convicted (Juddma), DaGip (Rickma), the plague (Robbie Rob Rob), and JerseyFats (Mikey)...I brought them to this site. We used to play Risk board games at Robbie Rob's house and at my house in Arizona.

We enjoy the game, AND we enjoy playing with other people. We do not show favoritism to each other, but we have freindly conversations and debates...but anybody can join in!

I recommended that we start forming only private games and invite people in if they want. I also recommended the triples idea from above, but there are four of us...so I thought we could randomly pick our triples team and then the Lone Wolf would have to be on the team with the new players, that way we know there is no secret alliance.

But if people would just do their research instead of jumping to conclusions right off the bat, they would see that there has never been a secret alliance.

And tessio, you should had brought up that concern in game chat so we could have talked about it.

Of course, we are going to bash you...you left three of us a neg...but you didn't leave the convicted a neg? He is a freind of ours as well. And Jersey KILLED him...so your neg is unfounded and should be removed.

Thanks, this is brand new to me. I am recommending this to my freinds. I can kind of understand some people taking our freindships the wrong way, myself...I don't really care, unless it is obvious that they are coming after you and not themselves. Tessio, you need to rethink your neg...

It's not retaliatory, it's for being a poor sportsman and not doing your research on the matter and for falsely accusing me and others of forming a secret alliance. Much deserving of a negative feed, I am afraid.

Tessio....You keep quoting the rules on collusion. Do yourself a favor and look the word up. It means a secret agreement. Yes, I agree with you that any form of COLLUSION should be mentioned before the game, but there were no secret alliances, so why should they be mentioned. Just some friends who wanted to play a game and meet new people. There are no rules about talking to your friends. There weren't any posts about who should attack who or anything of that nature.You, yourself, admitted to having horrible dice roles. You should get your facts straight and when you start quoting things you should make sure you know what ALL the words mean, so you don't come out to look like an idiot (maybe a bit too late I'm afraid) Maybe your parents need to put a parental block on your computer also. again, you can avoid it if you all just play in games against each other. i ran into the same problem, playing standard games with my friends, despite declaring it at the opening and in no way aiding each other. it is just easier to play teams or games against each other, to avoid any sort of question about your integrity... i can understand his issue, it is valid.-0

Also would like to make it clear that my freinds and I don't mind having others play us and have fun doing it...I don't see anything wrong with that. I enjoy having people I don't know play along and kick the shit out of us...because we really suck at this so called secret alliance thing... :roll:
