Can't remember I won last time with 3 vs 3, must be bugged. I always end up with 1 and the opponent loses no fucking armies.

It may help to not roll 3 v 3. Have you considered having more?

when you roll 4 men against to then you are roling 3 dice against 2 dice. when you are rolling 3 men vs 2 men then you are rolling 2 dice against 2 dice - you no longer have an edge so do not roll with 3 men unless you absolutely must or unless you pray to the dice gods as I do. I do win 2 men against 1 alot
