The characters are me and my friend, I'm the one without glasses... you should figure it out. Note that this is like a book/movie, what happens here is a story, its not supposed to be whatever we do in real life. You lot in the picture thread should remember some of these.
I started this project almost immediately after school started this year. Some individual pieces have taken as long as 6 weeks, while I've been able to finish the most recent ones in a single week (3 periods of 90 minutes per day)
Please comment on both the artistry and however the "story" strikes you. I'll explain it step by step.![]()
Accidental Noise/Hear
Character 1 (my friend) is sidling along a wall when he accidentally knocks over a mirror and cracks it. It makes a sharp noise in the direction of Character 2 (me). Those are his feet in the reflection of the mirror and he is alerted that there is another presence in The Building.
Checking the Coast
Character 1 realizes that Character 2 is after him, but he doesn't know where I am. He quickly picks a random door in desperation, but makes sure I'm not behind it first.
Predator/Peeking Eye
Character 2, in the hunt for Character 1, looks through a random door, and what luck, there he is! But he doesn't strike yet, like a wise predator he watches and waits. (Reflection in pupil)
Opening the Door/Sounds Safe
There is a sudden silence and Character 2 believes The Danger has passed. He decides to go back into the previous room (where it all began).
These were my first serious attempts ever, noticeably.
Behind My Back/Evened Out
While Character 2 was hiding in the other room, Character 1 decides he wants to investigate the source of the original noise. he finds the dirty cracked mirror and places it back on the wall. Just in time for Character 2 to open the door behind Character 1 and rediscover The Danger.
I realize there are some noticeable "gaffs" with the architecture and lighting, just bear it please.
Parts 11 and 12 to come soon, possibly over winter break and no later than January 31st. Don't worry it all has a point. So is anyone left in suspense?

Wow cool in the picture with the hand opening the door I think you overdid the hair but that's jsut my opinion

He's not looking through a slightly open door, he's looking under a door.unriggable wrote:You should shorten your signature to just three hexagons. That could be awesome.
like this? shadow or no shadow? Text or just the hexagons?

bloknayrb,
A) I'm too lazy.
B) I want to keep moving forward to show the progression and, as meggy described, contrast between my oldest and my latest... i.e. I don't want to be updating all of my old pieces every time I learn a new trick (that specific one is maybe a month or so old).
