Organ Donation

Postby btownmeggy on Sat Dec 01, 2007 10:39 am

Are you (or would you be) an organ donor? Basically, when you got your driver's license, or in the future when you get your driver's license, did (/will) you X the box, sign the form, and upon your death by a horrible accident, donate your organs? Why or why not?

in BC we cant just use our drivers license to indicate our choice....so I had to go into the BC Access Centre and fill out forms....basically....donated my whole carcass.....I figure I'll be busy preparing for the next life, and why saddle any loved ones with disposal.......you know what they say......never mind worrying about leaving a good looking corpse.....slide into home base bloody and ripped up......laughing and saying "woooooohooooo.....whadda ride!"

Yes but I excluded my eyes on the back of my license, that's too gross. I don't want them popping my eyes out.

I think they use that system in Austria or Switzerland, I've forgotten which it was.

But a penis doesn't grow back. How can you donate it more than once?

Then it's at most a temporary loan, not a donation.
