Yes, I think it's obvious that you should continue to play tennis or any other sport that you've been wanting to take up, but never got around to doing, but don't do it on such a gruelling level, such as the one you described, or you'll wear yourself out before you even hit puberty

Many colleges have rec tennis groups where you just agree to show up on certain days if you can to play a bit...some have a couple of weekend tourneys throughout the year that are open to everybody and you just need to show up. It's a lot more fun that way.
