The Spartans of Michigan State needed King Leonidas himself as the Longhorns took another victory to move to 5-1. The Horns used stellar bench(cards) play to defeat the spartans. (cashed blue after 3 rounds and a mixed set after 6). The Horns continue to roll into conference play as there Only loss this season has been to ranked Boston College.

Wichita State wins at home against North Carolina - The # 7 ranked Shockers move to 5-1 and are developing no cards home field advantage. The Shockers have picked up two straight wins since moving into the Top 10 last week.

#5 Wichita State defeats Texas Tech (in their new coach's debut). Game 1199951. Some controversy surrounds the reffing of this game as there was a very questionable jump ball call to start the game. Wichita State moves to 6-1.

In a rematch of the 1999 National Championship game, Arizona gets revenge taking out Duke in four rounds.

The 6 and 1 Cats have their sights set on that #1 spot. There were reports of score board watching in the locker room after the game.
