And that might be the case, but how do you know for sure? That 5 could mean a few things.

You're probably right, I just need to play devil's advocate.

What else could it mean?

Looking back, I'm trying to figure out why Twiggy was killed and who by, as it is quite unusual... He hadn't posted once, and was spontaneously daykilled at the end of day 1. Now it could be one of three things.

-A modkill because of inactivity
-A random kill (in which case I'm grasping at air)
-A reasoned kill

I highly doubt a modkill because of his death scene. If he were struck down by the mod, it would likely be lightning and there would be no axe bearing a message.

A random kill is more likely, but still not likely enough. Scum's greatest weapon is confusion. You do not spread confusion by killing the quietest person in a game. You kill the person who is amidst accusations being throw back and forth (and there were plenty at that time. Remember Gustaf was nearly lynched). This would imply that the murderer (if this was the case) was fairly unexperienced.

Or, it was someone who simply doesn't like submariners. And this was just that person trying to get rid of a non-active player. This would mean that the player was probably more experienced.

Now, that said it's more likely an inexperience player trying to avoid attention by murdering the small dogs, as most experienced players would put themselves into a more advantageous situation than kill an annoying player.

My list of suspects in order, given all this:
borox0
Gustaf
Unit_2

Watch them, as there is a high chance of one of them being the SK.

Possible clue (either that or i'm stupid  )

It says the townspeople had finally got a Cyclops member. Does this mean the day killer is pro-town?

Why am I a suspect? (not in an insulting way I just want to know why you suspect me)

Oh, because I haven't seen you around the blocks too much (hence I assumed you were a less experienced player, no offense), but also because you've been pretty timid this game.

538 could've been a mod kill, with a giant bolder as such.

Either the Skoffin kill is set up to be mafia but actually isn't or 538 is a modkill, what other than I cyclops could lift a massive boulder?

As far as I can tell, there seems to be a Posiedon Daykiller+Nightkiller (or a daykiller and a nightkiller) running around. 538's death is probably Cyclops based as he was crushed by a rock.

I can't find any evidence as to where the "5 is the number of scum left alive" thing came from. Possibly suspiscious.

I disagreed with the noob killer theory before, but found the duration of night one suggested there might be a point to it. I'm still not completely convinced, but it's interesting to see another argument advanced to support it.

I'd like to know what others think about it, though, before acting on it.

I just like to point out that there have been no mod-kills in this game till now. But don't don't give me a chance ;). POST PEOPLE!

Also don't read too much into the clue, it is fairly straightforward and simple, you just need to connect some connections :P
